Thomas Petazzoni 1c08a2d5fd lightning: fix build issue by bumping to 2.1.2
The current version of lightning doesn't build with recent versions of
binutils. Since this has been fixed upstream in a dot release, let's
bump to the upstream version that has the fix.

While at it, add a hash for the license file.

Thomas Petazzoni 3430b9997c lightning: remove -lintl linking
This is not needed: libbfd is now properly linked against libintl, so
libintl is pulled in automatically.

Adam Duskett 190b2b409c package/l*/Config.in: fix ordering of statements
The check-package script when ran gives warnings on ordering issues
on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings
related to the ordering in the Config files for packages starting with
the letter l in the package directory.

The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help
See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#_config_files for more information.

Rahul Bedarkar 89fbba72fa package: use SPDX short identifier for LGPLv3/LGPLv3+
We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible.
SPDX short identifier for LGPLv3/LGPLv3+ is LGPL-3.0/LGPL-3.0+.

This change is done using following command.
find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/LGPLv3(\+)?/LGPL-3.0\1/g'

Erico Nunes 88db88d1b3 binutils: enable as target package for aarch64
binutils got disabled as a target package for aarch64 back in Buildroot
2012.11 (commit 660d16f4).
The default version 2.21.1 at the time didn't really support aarch64, as
shown by the autobuilder error reference in that commit.

binutils has now had support for aarch64 since 2.23, but was never
re-enabled for aarch64.

All of the binutils versions currently supported by Buildroot (oldest
being 2.24) support aarch64, so we can now enable it without any
restrictions.

This same patch also touches the dropwatch, lightning and oprofile
packages which all select binutils and had the 'depends on !aarch64' to
keep Kconfig consistent. They are now re-enabled for aarch64 as well.
They are changed in this same patch so that Kconfig is kept consistent
and doesn't end up having them disabled in a commit which only has the
binutils change applied.
lightning has other explicit arch dependencies so it is not actually yet
available in aarch64, but at least the dependency on !aarch64 because of
binutils is not needed anymore.

Everything has been build tested with Buildroot and external toolchains.
binutils and dropwatch work fine in a qemu target. oprofile doesn't seem
to be supported in the qemu aarch64 processor but builds fine and seems
to have some level of aarch64 support in the source, so there doesn't
seem to be a reason to keep it disabled in Kconfig.

Vicente Olivert Riera b90fa707f3 lightning: add -lintl only when needed
Adding -lintl to LIBS causes a failure in the configure phase when using
a toolchain which already has locale support because the intl library is
not present in the staging area. We fix this by adding -lintl only when
is needed.

This is the configure error:

checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error: in
`/br/output/build/lightning-2.0.5':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details

This is the message in the config.log:

configure:3351: /br/output/host/usr/bin/mips-linux-gnu-gcc
-D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -Os
-D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64

[Thomas:
 - Adjust the fix to not add a dependency on gettext: lightning
doesn't depend on gettext. It is just that binutils libraries are
linked against libintl when available, and we need to add -lintl
   explicitly in such cases.]

Paul Cercueil 952391db04 lightning: new package
GNU lightning is a library that generates assembly language code at
run-time.

https://www.gnu.org/software/lightning/

[Thomas:
 - Wrap list of architectures in Config.in
 - Introduce an explicit Config.in option for the disassembler
support, since it needs both binutils and zlib, which may not be
   easy to guess.
 - Add hash file.
 - Bump to version 2.0.5.
 - Add patch to fix cross-compilation issues on ARM and x86 due to
   AC_RUN_IFELSE() tests.
 - Adjust license information: the library is actually under LGPLv3+,
not GPLv3. There is a COPYING file with the text of the GPLv3 in
the code base, but this license doesn't seem to be used in anything
   that is actually installed.
 - Add AUTORECONF = YES since we're now patching configure.ac.
 - Add missing dependency on zlib for the disassembler support.
 - Add a special LIBS=-lintl when enabling the disassembler support
because binutils libraries use gettext functions, but they are not
   linked against libintl.]
