Maxime Hadjinlian 514291f39e packages: use new $($PKG)_DL_DIR) variable
Instead of DL_DIR, the package should now use $(PKG)_DL_DIR to ease the
transition into a new directory structure for DL_DIR.

This commit has been generated with the following scripts:

for i in $(find . -iname "*.mk"); do
	if ! grep -q "\$(DL_DIR)" ${i}; then
		continue
	fi
	pkg_name="$(basename $(dirname ${i}))"
	[ "${pkg_name}" = "package" ] && continue
	raw_pkg_name=$(echo ${pkg_name} | tr [a-z] [A-Z] | tr '-' '_')
	pkg_dl_dir="${raw_pkg_name}_DL_DIR"
	sed -i "s/\$(DL_DIR)/\$($pkg_dl_dir)/" ${i}
done

Thomas Petazzoni e77013a3c4 package/pkg-generic: handle host-tar as an extract dependency
This moves the host-tar dependency handling from
DEPENDENCY_HOST_PREREQ to an extract dependency.

To achieve that, check-host-tar.mk fills in the
BR2_TAR_HOST_DEPENDENCY variable with host-tar if building a host-tar
is needed. The name BR2_TAR_HOST_DEPENDENCY has been chosen because it
matches the name BR2_CMAKE_HOST_DEPENDENCY already used in
check-host-cmake.mk.

The BR2_TAR_HOST_DEPENDENCY is added to all packages, except host-tar
itself (obviously) and host-skeleton, because we depend on
host-skeleton to install host-tar properly in HOST_DIR.

In addition, we modify tar.mk to explicitly build host-tar without
ccache: since ccache source code is available as a tarball, ccache
will obviously depend on host-tar if the system tar is insufficient.

Finally, to make things really clean, we also add
$(BR2_TAR_HOST_DEPENDENCY) to the dependencies of the tar filesystem
format, since it requires tar, so we'd better make sure we have a
suitable tar.

Thomas Petazzoni 121807c089 tar: do not build SELinux support for host variant
If we don't explicitly disable SELinux support in the host-tar build,
it might pick up system-wide installed SELinux libraries, causing the
tar in HOST_DIR/bin/ to depend on the host SELinux libraries, which is
not desirable to make the SDK portable/relocatable.

Thomas Petazzoni 2277fdeca8 package/*/Config.in: fix help text check-package warnings
This commit fixes the warnings reported by check-package on the help
text of all package Config.in files, related to the formatting of the
help text: should start with a tab, then 2 spaces, then at most 62
characters.

The vast majority of warnings fixed were caused by too long lines. A
few warnings were related to spaces being used instead of a tab to
indent the help text.

Thomas Petazzoni 1dbd7b9910 package: move busybox show others dependency to per-package
Having the BR2_PACKAGE_BUSYBOX_SHOW_OTHERS dependencies in
package/Config.in is not very practical: it makes this file not very
readable, and puts the dependency away from the package itself, which
can sometimes be confusing. Therefore, this commit moves the dependency
in each package Config.in file.

Julien Floret 7c0a72b22e tar: remove empty host dependencies definition
Note that host-tar dependencies were broken with automatic derivation
of host dependencies:
host-tar could depend (or not) on host-attr (and even on non-existing
host-acl!), depending on BR2_PACKAGE_BUSYBOX.

Now, host-tar has no dependency.

Thomas De Schampheleire fd10b42ab8 dependencies: build a host-tar if no suitable tar can be found
Some toolchains, like the one built with buildroot itself, use hardlinks (for
example to link between the c++ and g++ binary). Unpacking such a toolchain
with the --strip-components options does not work correctly if the system tar
is too old (<1.17). Even recent releases of RedHat/CentOS still ship with
tar 1.15.

This patch checks for a suitable tar version (tar 1.17+) on the host system,
and adds host-tar to the host dependencies if none can be found.

host-tar is download and extracted as cpio.gz instead of tar.gz, to prevent
chicken-egg problem.

Thomas Petazzoni 8d880c3e5c Fix PROGRAM_INVOCATION handling with external toolchains
BR2_UCLIBC_PROGRAM_INVOCATION is a toolchain configuration option,
like BR2_INET_IPV6, BR2_INET_RPC, on which some packages
depend. Therefore, it should be handled like BR2_INET_IPV6 and
BR2_INET_RPC in order to work properly with external toolchains.

Since we move it out of toolchain/uClibc/Config.in into
toolchain/Config.in.2, we rename the option to BR2_PROGRAM_INVOCATION
(since BR2_INET_RPC and others don't have UCLIBC in their name).
