Giulio Benetti 7620420758 dvdrw-tools: fix minor()/major() build failure due to glibc 2.28
glibc 2.28 no longer includes <sys/sysmacros.h> from <sys/types.h>,
and therefore <sys/sysmacros.h> must be included explicitly when
major()/minor() are used.

This commit adds a patch to directly include <sys/sysmacros.h> into
growisofs.c where minor() and major() macros are used.

Giulio Benetti c0523856d6 sunxi-mali-mainline-driver: add support for building on arm64
Blobs for ARM64 are now available at Bootlin Github and
sunxi-mali-mainline package has been updated to support them.

This commit updates the <pkg>_MAKE_OPTS variable by substituting
CROSS_COMPILE and INSTALL_MOD_PATH with
LINUX_MAKE_FLAGS. LINUX_MAKE_FLAGS already includes CROSS_COMPILE and
INSTALL_MOD_PAT, but also includes the ARCH variable, which is needed
to select the appropriate architecture when building the Mali driver.

Giulio Benetti 3e1640e099 sunxi-mali-mainline: add EULA license file
sunxi-mali-mainline package has not license file at the moment.

License file is a pdf EULA, but its name contains whitespaces. This
gives problems when passing filename to SUNXI_MALI_MAINLINE_LICENSE_FILES
since it expects a list of files.
Other attempts with \ or \\ to keep spaces were tried with no luck.
Add a define to POST_PATCH_HOOKS to change pdf filename from
'EULA for Mali 400MP _AW.pdf' to 'EULA_for_Mali_400MP_AW.pdf'.

Gaël PORTAY 945a836174 qt5virtualkeyboard: fix patch applied to 2.0 version
The patch 0001-remove-weird-install-path-for-example.patch using
patch: does not apply properly and needs to be fixed.

The patch was backported from 5.7 [1] with path adaptation in commit
(cb97d9473b qt5virtualkeyboard: allow to build with qt5.6), but the
submitted patch did not reflect that said adaptation.

Apply the said patch adaptation (i.e. add missing basic subdirectory) to
apply properly the patch.

Thomas Petazzoni cd7e62cf4e libsoup: add patch to fix build on hosts without Python 3.x
For no reason, the tld-parser.py script was changed from using
"python" to using "python3" in upstream commit
4b924e573da307436169d5ef7e04c0ab85b36ef9. This patch reverts this
change to fix the build of libsoup on systems that don't have Python
3.x installed. It avoids the need to add host-python3 as a dependency.

Furthermore, the tld-parser.py script has anyway been removed
upstream, and replaced by a dependency on a separate library providing
TLD information. Therefore, there is no risk of this particular script
becoming Python 3 only.

Laurent Hartanerot 1098f64d7b qt5webengine: use QT5WEBENGINE prefix for CHROMIUM_LICENSE_FILES variable
The qt5webengine package currently uses the CHROMIUM_LICENSE_FILES
variable to hold the list of license files for the chromium source
code embedded inside the qt5webengine code.

However, using this variable would clash with a hypothetical
"chromium" package, and anyway violates our rule that all variables of
a package should be prefixed by the package name.

This commit fixes that by adding the QT5WEBENGINE to this variable.

Giulio Benetti 10b50e3dbc minicom: change upstream site, bump version
Minicom is now available on a git repository at:
https://salsa.debian.org/minicom-team/minicom.git
Main changes:
- RS485 support
- NLS support
- various fixes

So:
- change MINICOM_METHOD to git pointing to latest commit
- add MINICOM_AUTORECONF = YES
- add MINICOM_MKDIR_M4 to MINICOM_POST_PATCH_HOOKS because autoreconf
requires and existing m4 directory
- add host-gettext to DEPENDENCIES for AM_ICONV macro
- delete old patches since they became part of git repository as commits
- add new patch to check if RS485 is supported
- update tarball sha256 in hash file

Git shortlog of Minicom repository follows starting from version 2.7
since commit for 2.7-1 debian version is not present.
The only difference between version 2.7-1(debian) and 2.7 seems to be
a coding style change in src/config.c file that breaks every line into a
string like:
(
"aaa"
"bbb"
"ccc"
)
instead of:
(
"aaa\
 bbb\
 ccc"
)

Peter Korsgaard 1bcc6e8741 acpid: drop x86 architecture dependency
Closes #11241

While ACPI is historically exclusively a x86 feature, ia64 and (some) arm64
server platforms also use it. Furthermore, even if the firmware does not
provide an ACPI interface and/or the kernel is not built with ACPI support,
acpid can still be used to command an orderly shutdown of the system as it
also listens for KEY_POWER / KEY_SUSPEND events from the input subsystem
(and calls shutdown by default).

Giulio Benetti 4ffde065d2 atop: fix minor()/major() build failure due to glibc 2.28
glibc 2.28 no longer includes <sys/sysmacros.h> from <sys/types.h>,

major()/minor() are used. See glibc upstream commit:

Jörg Krause e047dee241 package/shairport-sync: add upstream patch to fix build issue with soxr
Add upstream patch to fix build issue detected by the Buildroot autobuilder:

```
arm-buildroot-linux-uclibcgnueabi/sysroot/usr//lib/libsoxr.a(soxr.c.o): In function `soxr_create':
soxr.c:(.text+0xd4c): undefined reference to `av_get_cpu_flags'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
```

A quick look at the soxr source code shows that `soxr_create()` might use
`av_get_cpu_flags()` depending on the architecture.

For the sake of simplicity link with `-lavutil` if it is found when using soxr.

Even better, as soxr provides a pkg-config file, this should be prefered.

Peter Korsgaard 11241ac656 mbedtls: fix x86 PIC build with GCC < 5
Fixes:
http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/d6d/d6dc9a640aa1f6650a3e7b9397f2fe2ae3433f4d/
http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/ab5/ab5a58ea7845f9f378454ee1aa7e872448618ba9/

ebx was recently added to the x86 inline asm MULADDC_STOP clobber list to
fix #1550, but this causes the build to fail with GCC < 5 when building in
PIC mode with errors like:

include/mbedtls/bn_mul.h:46:13: error: PIC register clobbered by ‘ebx’ in ‘asm’

This is because older GCC versions treated the x86 ebx register (which is
used for the GOT) as a fixed reserved register when building as PIC.

This is fixed by an improved register allocator in GCC 5+. From the release
notes:

Register allocation improvements: Reuse of the PIC hard register, instead of
using a fixed register, was implemented on x86/x86-64 targets. This
improves generated PIC code performance as more hard registers can be used.

https://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/gcc-5/changes.html

As a workaround, add a patch to detect this situation and disable the inline
assembly, similar to the MULADDC_CANNOT_USE_R7 logic.

Yann E. MORIN 8909897ab3 package/brltty: fix cross-compilation
brltty has a very inventive buildsystem, where it internall runs
./configure for the build machine In doing so, it generates a list
of make variables to define what the build machine supports, like
it does for the target.

However, the build variables are generated with a convoluted sed
script that scans the target list, and appends _FOR_BUILD to each
target variables. Then, both lists are included from the Makefile,
on the assumption that the build variables will not clash with the
target variables.

Where it gets interesting, is that that sed script considers the
variables names to match '[A-Za-z][A-Za-z0-9_]*'

And there we see why ATSPI2_PACKAGE does not match: it contains a
digit.

So, some build variables will inevitably override target ones.

Fix that by simply expanding the matching regexp to allow digits
in variable names.

e2fsprogs is only needed to build the btrfs-convert program, that
allows to convert an existing ext2 filesystem into a btrfs
filesystem. Not everybody needs to do that and making this dependency
optional is nicer, so this is what this patch does.

Note that btrfs-progs also supports converting from reiserfs, which is
why the --with-convert option supports a list of filesystems. Since
Buildroot has no package for the reiserfs library, we for now only
support the ext2 case, with e2fsprogs as a dependency.

The btrfs-convert tool is used to convert an existing ext2 or reiserfs

useful, so let's disable building this tool, which allows to drop the
host-e2fsprogs dependency.

The host-util-linux dependency becomes necessary: it was previously
brought as a second-order dependency of host-e2fsprogs, but since we
no longer depend on host-e2fsprogs, we now need to explicitly depend
on host-util-linux.

Giulio Benetti e07c200cdb sunxi-mali-mainline: add support for arm64 and r8p1 blob version
Blobs for arm64(aarch64) and r8p1 version are now available at Bootlin
Github.

So:
- Bump version to latest commit:
For arm64 architecture and r8p1 version.

git shortlog --no-merges cb3e8ece9b2c3a70cbeb3204cd6f30eceaa32023..
Giulio Benetti (1):
Reorder folders splitting includes and libraries.

Maxime Ripard (6):
Move binaries to an arch subfolder
      Make x11 binaries path consistent
      Add r6p2 arm wayland blobs
      Add r6p2 arm64 blobs
      Add r8p1 fbdev blobs
      Add r8p1 arm64 fbdev blobs

- Add support for them also under arm64(aarch64) architecture copying the
right blobs according to architecture(arm or arm64) checking if BR2_arm
or BR2_aarch64 is enabled.
Only BR2_arm needs to provide BR2_ARM_EABIHF, so check must be done only
in that case.
- Mali-blobs repository folder layout has been reordered, so modify path
when copying headers and libraries.
- When copying libraries copy only *.so* files to avoid useless files to
end into target folder.

Baruch Siach b1db9038dd busybox: don't clobber dangling symlinks
We sometimes create dangling symlinks in the target directory. That is
because we need canonical targets, as relative targets don't work well
with BR2_ROOTFS_MERGED_USR. For example, the vim package installs the
/bin/vi symlink to /usr/bin/vim. This symlink might be dangling when the
build host has no vim installed there.

Patch the busybox install.sh script to avoid clobber of dangling
symlinks.

Thomas Petazzoni 5a3f78c919 libaio: bump to 0.3.111
Until now, libaio contained some architecture specific code to do the
syscalls. In fact, it contained a generic variant of the code called
syscall-generic.h, but it was showing a warning when it was used, as
if it was "not safe". Consequently, in Buildroot, we had chosen to
support libaio only on a the subset of architectures that were
explicitly handled by libaio.

However, between 0.3.110 and 0.3.111, libaio upstream entirely dropped
the architecture-specific code:

  https://pagure.io/libaio/c/97fd3fc0195500e616e34047cba4846164c411d9?branch=master

Consequently, in this patch, we:

 - Bump libaio to 0.3.111.

 - Switch to the new upstream at https://pagure.io/libaio/.

 - Drop the 0001-arches.patch patch, which was adding support for
MIPS, since we no longer need architecture-specific code.

 - Update the remaining patches, and Git-format one of them which
   wasn't Git-formatted.

 - Drop the BR2_PACKAGE_LIBAIO_ARCH_SUPPORTS option and all its uses.

Peter Korsgaard 994a47649b pv: fix build failures when building under a path containing 'yes'
Depending on the configuration, the cpp output may contain the string 'yes'
in a comment if built under a path containing 'yes', confusing the _AIX

\# 32 "<command-line>" 2
\# 1 "conftest.txt"

If misdetected, the configure script adds -lc128 to LIBS, causing the
AC_CHECKS_FUNCS check for stat64 to fail, which in turn causes compilation
errors about redefinition of symbols:

In file included from ./src/include/pv-internal.h:9:0,
                 from src/pv/file.c:5:
./src/include/config.h:76:18: error: redefinition of 'struct stat'
  #  define stat64 stat
                   ^
Fix it by only matching on 'yes' on a line by itself.

As pv doesn't cleanly autoreconf (it doesn't use automake and configure.in
is located in subdir), instead directly patch configure.

Bernd Kuhls cbb7b49f4c package/nodejs: use host-libopenssl
host-nodejs is configured to build openssl by using its included openssl
source code which is based on openssl 1.0.2. If host-libopenssl was
already built its header files are being picked up during host-nodejs
build, this was verified by adding debug code to
$(HOST_DIR)/include/openssl/opensslv.h.

This situation was not a problem as long as host-libopenssl was the
same version than the openssl code included in nodejs.

Some code in host-nodejs-8.11.4/src/node_crypto.cc is guarded by

	#if OPENSSL_VERSION_NUMBER < 0x10100000L

to be used only with openssl 1.0.x.

This leads to problems if host-libopenssl 1.1.x was built before. Due
to the usage of its header files some code in node_crypto.cc is not
built leading to many linking errors later on, for example:

node_crypto.cc:(.text+0x1a1): undefined reference to `DH_get0_pqg'

When the nodejs package originally was added to buildroot back in
March 2013:
https://git.buildroot.net/buildroot/commit/?id=b31bc7d4387095091a109eb879464d54d37a5eab

We did not have a host-libopenssl package back then, it was added one
month later:
https://git.buildroot.net/buildroot/commit/?id=7842789cb539b6b64d61b03f5c8dbe6813f01da7

To fix the problem we use host-libopenssl for host-nodejs.
By using host-libopenssl the build time of nodejs is reduced by ~15s.

Adam Duskett eb9d0e3810 python-setuptools: bump to 40.0.0
With the introduction of Python 3.7.0, setuptools also needs to be updated.
Without the update, several packages will fail to build or install with a
ValueError: bad marshal data (unknown type code).

Updating setuptools to 40.0.0 version fixes this issue.

Even though 40.1.0 is out, updating to 40.0.0 is recommended as it seems like
40.1.0 breaks version detection on some python packages such as
python-cryptography which will error out with a complaint that setuptools is too
old, even though it's at 40.1.0. Using 40.0.0 fixes the issue.

Christopher McCrory 0bf656ead9 oracle-mysql: fix hostname path
MySQL detects on the build machine where the hostname program is
located, and uses this value in a number of configuration files and
scripts that are generated and installed in the target:

output/target$ grep -r "bin/hostname" *
etc/inittab:::sysinit:/bin/hostname -F /etc/hostname
usr/share/mysql/mysql.server: pid_file=$datadir/mysqlmanager-`/usr/bin/hostname`.pid
usr/share/mysql/mysql.server: server_pid_file=$datadir/`/usr/bin/hostname`.pid
usr/bin/mysql_install_db:hostname=`/usr/bin/hostname`
usr/bin/mysqld_safe: err_log=$DATADIR/`/usr/bin/hostname`.err
usr/bin/mysqld_safe: pid_file="$DATADIR/`/usr/bin/hostname`.pid"

However, the hostname on the build machine may not necessarily be at
the same location as the hostname program on the target. Buildroot has
its hostname program (coming from Busybox) in /bin, but some Linux
distributions (such as Fedora) use /usr/bin/hostname, causing the
incorrect hostname paths above.

This commit fixes that by passing the appropriate autoconf cache
variable value.
