LIBUSB_1_0_SONAME is detected since version 0.1.6 and
b6f5a2fe12
The detection mechanism is based on sed, here are the more relevant
parts:

However, this mechanism is broken with sed 4.7 and will return the
following 'silent' error:

Moreover, it also raises the following build failure on one of the
autobuilder because an empty line is added to LIBUSB_1_0_SONAME:

We could patch patch m4/au_check_lib_soname.m4 to fix the mechanism
however this is difficult without reproducing the autobuilder failure
and upstream seems dead so just set LIBUSB_1_0_SONAME

libsigrok build failed because of PATH_MAX not being defined in usb.h.
On linux it is defined in linux/limits.h, but usb.h only includes
limit.h. Add a patch fixing the header in libusb-compat.
While we're at it: remove the patch numbering from previous patch.

We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible.
SPDX short identifier for LGPLv2.1/LGPLv2.1+ is LGPL-2.1/LGPL-2.1+.
This change is done using following command.

Fix that by adding hash files for all SourceForge-hosted packages (thos
etht did not already have it).
We normally prefer to use hashes published by upstream, but hunting them
all one by one is a tedious task, so those hashes were all locally
computed with a script that searched for SF-hosted packages, downloades
the associated tarball, computed the hash, and stored it in the
corresponding .hash file.
Also, SF publishes sha1 hashes, while I used the stronger sha256, since
sha1 is now considered to be relatively weak.

Use the <pkg>_CONFIG_SCRIPTS mechanism in all packages for which it
does all what the package was doing. A few packages, like libxslt, are
for now left out, since they need some additional fixup (for example a
fixup of includedir).

Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the
AUTOTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to
repeat its name and the directory in which it is present.

Now that we have libtool-2.2.x patch support, we can get rid of a bunch
of _LIBTOOL_PATH = NO, fixing (potential) cross link issues.
Notice: php not changed, as it uses a very old 1.5 version for the
embedded sqlite, where our buildroot-libtool-v1.5.patch doesn't apply.

Upgrade libusb to v1.0.3 and add new libusb-compat package for
compatibility with old packages that expect the pre-1.0 API.
Also update usb_modeswitch to depend on libusb-compat rather than
libusb.
