Currently, we define the so-called "overflow group" as 'nogroup'.
However, one practical issue is that systemd-sysusers will otherwise
create a 'nobody' group with gid 999, because that's is what is usual to
define the overflow group: users and groups are defined in LSB (Linux
Standard Base):
https://refspecs.linuxfoundation.org/LSB_5.0.0/LSB-Core-generic/LSB-Core-generic/usernames.html
Quoting: "If the username exists on a system, then they should be in the
suggested corresponding group".
Only Debian and derivatives depart from this custom, naming it 'nogroup'
(hence the rationale for commit 908198e756 (system/skeleton: remove
spurious group 'nobody').
See also commit 9c67af2c52 (system/skeleton: use uid/gid 65534 for
nobody/nogroup), and a related discussion on LWN.net (key is "overflow
UID" which also applies to GID):

Use the recommended groupname 'nobody'. Adapt packages accordingly.

As spotted by Thomas Petazzoni during review of
https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/buildroot/patch/20200713215943.2240412-1-fontaine.fabrice@gmail.com,
oracle-mysql uses its bundled version of zlib if it is not found on the
system
So explictly disable zlib if needed and add a patch fixing build
failures without it

All the packages in this list have the following properties
* units are provided by buildroot in the package directory
* the SYSTEMD_INSTALL_INIT_HOOK is exactly equivalent to what the
[Install] section of the unit does
The fix removes the soflinking in the .mk file

oracle-mysql is licensed under GPL-2.0, which is not license compatible with
modern readline (GPL-3.0+), so instead use the bundled older version
(GPL-2.0+ licensed) of readline instead.

MySQL detects on the build machine where the hostname program is
located, and uses this value in a number of configuration files and
scripts that are generated and installed in the target:
output/target$ grep -r "bin/hostname" *
etc/inittab:::sysinit:/bin/hostname -F /etc/hostname
usr/share/mysql/mysql.server: pid_file=$datadir/mysqlmanager-`/usr/bin/hostname`.pid
usr/share/mysql/mysql.server: server_pid_file=$datadir/`/usr/bin/hostname`.pid
usr/bin/mysql_install_db:hostname=`/usr/bin/hostname`
usr/bin/mysqld_safe: err_log=$DATADIR/`/usr/bin/hostname`.err
usr/bin/mysqld_safe: pid_file="$DATADIR/`/usr/bin/hostname`.pid"
However, the hostname on the build machine may not necessarily be at
the same location as the hostname program on the target. Buildroot has
its hostname program (coming from Busybox) in /bin, but some Linux
distributions (such as Fedora) use /usr/bin/hostname, causing the
incorrect hostname paths above.
This commit fixes that by passing the appropriate autoconf cache
variable value.

Since things are no longer installed in $(HOST_DIR)/usr, the callers
should also not refer to it.
This is a mechanical change with
git grep -l '$(HOST_DIR)/usr/bin' | xargs sed -i 's%$(HOST_DIR)/usr/bin%$(HOST_DIR)/bin%g'

We want to use SPDX identifier for license strings as much as possible.
SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+ is GPL-2.0/GPL-2.0+.
This change is done by using following command.
find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/\<GPLv2\>/GPL-2.0/g'

This commit turns mysql into a virtual package, after renaming the
original mysql package to oracle-mysql. This way, all existing packages
that "depends on" or "select" BR2_PACKAGE_MYSQL continue to work with no
modification.
