Bernd Kuhls bd2011671e package/fetchmail: bump version to 6.4.0.beta5
This bump brings buildroot in-line with Debian stable which also
provides this version after version 6.3 was removed from testing
in 2017: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/fetchmail

Removed patches applied upstream:
bcab21a977
a2ae6f8d15

fetchmailconf.py received various python3-related patches:
https://gitlab.com/fetchmail/fetchmail/commits/legacy_64/fetchmailconf.py

Therefore FETCHMAIL_REMOVE_FETCHMAILCONF_PY is not needed anymore.

Added license hash.

Adam Duskett 30cf833b88 package/f*: fix wrapping of Config.in help text
The check-package script when ran gives warnings on text wrapping
on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings
related to the text wrapping for the Config files starting with
the letter f in the package directory.

The appropriate indentation is: <tab><2 spaces><62 chars>
See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#writing-rules-config-in for more
information.

Thomas Petazzoni 39ec557f2d fetchmail: use the new gettext logic
This commit switches to use the new gettext logic, which involves
using TARGET_NLS_DEPENDENCIES instead of hand-encoded dependencies on
gettext/host-gettext.

Thomas Petazzoni 281d8451c4 fetchmail: adjust zlib handling
fetchmail itself does not need zlib, there is no reference to it in its
source, so the "select BR2_PACKAGE_ZLIB" is not necessary. Moreover,
"zlib" was not added to FETCHMAIL_DEPENDENCIES (but was anyway in the
dependency chain through openssl).

In addition, LIBS="-lz" is only needed in static linking configurations,
to help fetchmail's configure script find OpenSSL (it doesn't use
pkg-config unfortunately).

Thomas Petazzoni e613c6eb4a fetchmail: gettext is not mandatory
Even when locales are enabled, gettext is not mandatory to build
fetchmail, i.e the following defconfig builds fine:

BR2_arm=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_CUSTOM=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_DOWNLOAD=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_URL="http://autobuild.buildroot.org/toolchains/tarballs/br-arm-full-2017.02-1096-g54a5333.tar.bz2"
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_GCC_4_8=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_HEADERS_3_10=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_LOCALE=y
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_CXX=y
BR2_INIT_NONE=y
BR2_SYSTEM_BIN_SH_NONE=y
BR2_PACKAGE_FETCHMAIL=y

However, if gettext provides libintl, it gets used. Therefore this
commit moves gettext from a mandatory dependency to an optional
dependency.

the letter f in the package directory.

The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help

Rahul Bedarkar af31c309e7 boot, linux, package: use SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+
We want to use SPDX identifier for license strings as much as possible.
SPDX short identifier for GPLv2/GPLv2+ is GPL-2.0/GPL-2.0+.

not registered, and the build failure kept showing up.

Yann E. MORIN 2ced21f8f9 package: add hashes for SourceForge-hosted packages
Since SourceForge sometimes serves us faulty tarballs, we can tons of
autobuild failures:
    http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/9fb/9fba5bf086a4e7a29e5f7156ec43847db7aacfc4/
    http://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/6c8/6c837b244c45ac3b3a887734a371cd6d226cf216/
    ...

Fix that by adding hash files for all SourceForge-hosted packages (thos
etht did not already have it).

We normally prefer to use hashes published by upstream, but hunting them
all one by one is a tedious task, so those hashes were all locally
computed with a script that searched for SF-hosted packages, downloades
the associated tarball, computed the hash, and stored it in the
corresponding .hash file.

Also, SF publishes sha1 hashes, while I used the stronger sha256, since
sha1 is now considered to be relatively weak.

so it is redundant.

Bernd Kuhls e921567efb package/fetchmail: gettextize to match the new gettext version
The gettext macros in the package are from a gettext version older than
the one we have in Buildroot, so autoreconf fails.

Run gettextize prior to running autoreconf, like we do in wget.

Bernd Kuhls fee0de3693 package/fetchmail: Fix checking for statically build OpenSSL with libz dependency
Fixes
http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/48a/48ad6d3659cf1f04581b7e3d115bebf454ff17fd/

To fix the error add "-lz" to LIBS variable and re-order the libraries in
configure.ac. Please note line 797 in configure.ac:
dnl XXX FIXME: use pkg-config if available!

Quote of the compile error:

configure: Enabling OpenSSL support in /home/br/br/output/host/usr/i486-buildroot-linux-uclibc/sysroot/usr.
checking for additional library dependencies of SSL... error
configure: error: cannot link with SSL - check config.log

In config.log multiple linking errors to libz can be found:

configure:10099: /home/br/br/output/host/usr/bin/i486-ctng-linux-uclibc-gcc -o
