We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible.
SPDX short identifier for LGPLv2/LGPLv2+ is LGPL-2.0/LGPL-2.0+.
This change is done using following command.

In the gamin package, patch
0003-fix-missing-PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP.patch was introduced to fix
the build with musl. Indeed, while musl defines "linux", it does not
define PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP, but only PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE. So
the check was simplified to only verify if PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP is
defined.
However, this doesn't work well with uClibc linuxthreads. In uClibc,
PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP and PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE are not
pre-processor defines, but enum values. For this reason, even if
PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP actually exists, #if
defined(PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP) is false. So, the gamin code falls
back to using PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE.
Except that for uClibc linuxthreads, PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE is defined
only if __USE_UNIX98 is defined. For the NPTL implementation,
PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE is defined either if __USE_UNIX98 or
__USE_XOPEN2K8 are defined. This strange difference has been reported to
uClibc-ng upstream [1].
However, regardless of this uClibc behavior, using #if defined to check
for the availability of PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP is not good. This
commit therefore switches to using a proper AC_CHECK_DECL() autoconf
test, which works regardless of whether the value is #define'd or
defined as an enum value.
This fixes the build of gamin on linuxthreads platforms, such as
Microblaze or m68k.

A lot of packages ignored BR2_ENABLE_DEBUG. This patch simplifies the handling of
this option by adding the corresponding configure option to the global Makefile
for target packages.
For host packages --disable-debug is added to the global Makefile.

This commit adds a dependency of the libglib2 package on thread
support in the toolchain, since upstream libglib2 doesn't build
without thread support. The commit is rather large as it involves
propagating the dependency on thread support to all reverse
dependencies of the libglib2 package.
[Thomas: squash all patches into one, make a few minor fixes, the most
important one being to not add comments about MMU requirement when a
package doesn't work on !MMU platforms.]

The configuration cache shared between packages, while being in
principle a nice idea to speed-up the configuration of packages by
avoiding repetitive identical checks, turned out to be unreliable due
to the subtle differences between similar but not identical checks in
different packages. After spending some time trying to fix those, we
concluded that supporting the shared configuration cache is definitely
too hard and too unreliable, and that we'd better get rid of it
altogether.
This patch therefore removes the shared configuration cache
infrastructure and usage.

gettext needs WCHAR support in the toolchain, and as libglib2 depends on
gettext and lots of stuff depends on libglib2, quite a lot of packages
needs to have their dependencies adjusted.
