The EW-72 can be powered straight from the PCB, bypassing the need for PoE.
This is more efficient for power constrained environments.
Dr. Andy Haas in esnail:
"There's a missing electrolytic cap. I put +15 V on the black side, and gnd on the white. It doesn't work below 14V, sorry."
