media: videobuf2: Add VIDEOBUF2_V4L2 Kconfig option for VB2 V4L2 part Videobuf2 is now separate from V4L2 and can be now built without it, at least in principle --- enabling videobuf2 in kernel configuration attempts to compile videobuf2-v4l2.c but that will fail if CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2 isn't enabled. Solve this by adding a separate Kconfig option for videobuf2-v4l2 and make it a separate module as well. This means that drivers now need to choose both the appropriate videobuf2 memory type (VIDEOBUF2_{VMALLOC,DMA_CONTIG,DMA_SG}) and VIDEOBUF2_V4L2 if they need both. v4l2-pci-skeleton: Only build if PCI is available Currently arm64 does not support PCI but it does support v4l2. Since the PCI skeleton driver is built unconditionally as a module with no dependency on PCI this causes build failures for arm64 allmodconfig. Fix this by defining a symbol VIDEO_PCI_SKELETON for the skeleton and conditionalising the build on that. media: v4l2-pci-skeleton: depend on CONFIG_SAMPLES Commit 0185f8501762 ("[media] samples: v4l: from Documentation to samples directory") moved the v4l2-pci-skeleton driver to the samples directory. The samples are only be built, if CONFIG_SAMPLES is enabled. Therefore, VIDEO_PCI_SKELETON is not enough to build the v4l2-pci-skeleton driver, but SAMPLES needs to be enabled, too. Let VIDEO_PCI_SKELETON depend on SAMPLES. The functions should be called from the LED subsystem device driver. In case the support for V4L2 Flash sub-devices is disabled in the kernel config the functions' empty versions will be used. [media] v4l: fwnode: Support generic fwnode for parsing standardised properties The fwnode_handle is a more generic way than OF device_node to describe firmware nodes. Instead of the OF API, use more generic fwnode API to obtain the same information. As the V4L2 fwnode support will be required by a small minority of e.g. ACPI based systems (the same might actually go for OF), make this a module instead of embedding it in the videodev module. The origins of the V4L2 fwnode framework is in the V4L2 OF framework.
