Tero Kristo 38c4b121b0 ARM: AM43XX: Add functions to save/restore am43xx control registers
These registers are part of the wkup domain and are lost during RTC only
suspend and also hibernation, so storing/restoring their state is
necessary.

Tony Lindgren b96b332fd5 ARM: OMAP3: Add support for configuring MMC pins as GPIO pins
Some devices are using the MMC1 pins 4..8 as GPIO pins, and in
this case they need to be configured for 1.8V IO voltage if not
done by the bootloader as otherwise some devices like smsc911x
won't work properly.

Let's also make sure this register is saved and restored for
idle.

Tero Kristo 2208bf115f ARM: OMAP2+: control: determine control module base address from DT
There is no need to provide the control module base address through a
low-level API from the low-level IO init, as this information is
available through DT. This patch adds a new API to initialize the
control module though, but mostly makes the old API obsolete. The
old API can be completely removed once OMAP3 is made DT only.

Linus Torvalds 4025fa97ff ARM: SoC non-critical fixes
Here's a small collection of fixes accrued during the last release that weren't
considered severe enough to merge during the -rc series.

A few of these are around resurrecting TI81xx support that's been broken for
quite a while, the rest are smaller fixes -- most for PXA but a few across
 the board.

There are also some updates to MAINTAINERS here, in particular for Broadcom
 platforms.

Lennart Sorensen afc9d590b8 ARM: dra7xx: Fix counter frequency drift for AM572x errata i856
Errata i856 for the AM572x (DRA7xx) points out that the 32.768KHz external
crystal is not enabled at power up. Instead the CPU falls back to using
an emulation for the 32KHz clock which is SYSCLK1/610. SYSCLK1 is usually
20MHz on boards so far (which gives an emulated frequency of 32.786KHz),
but can also be 19.2 or 27MHz which result in much larger drift.

Since this is used to drive the master counter at 32.768KHz * 375 /
2 = 6.144MHz, the emulated speed for 20MHz is of by 570ppm, or about 43
seconds per day, and more than the 500ppm NTP is able to tolerate.

Checking the CTRL_CORE_BOOTSTRAP register can determine if the CPU
is using the real 32.768KHz crystal or the emulated SYSCLK1/610, and
by known that the real counter frequency can be determined and used.
The real speed is then SYSCLK1 / 610 * 375 / 2 or SYSCLK1 * 75 / 244.

Joachim Eastwood 6bf5885959 ARM: OMAP4: Ctrl module register define diet
The mach-omap2 directory contains full register defines for OMAP4
control module but only around 27 of those are used. There are is
a total of 1795 register defines in four files with only 27 in use.
That is pretty low usefulness ratio...

I guess alot more was used when we had omap4 board files and
mach-omap2 contained more drivers but this has now changed.

* Smartreflex support is still on experimental mode: the gains and min

* Efuse offset for core OPP100-OV setting is not clear in documentation.
* IVA OPPs beyond OPP100 are disabled due to the delta between max OMAP4460

Vaibhav Hiremath a86c0b9867 ARM: AM33XX: cm: Add bit-field width values
The new common clk framework includes basic definitions for mux and
divider clocks. These definitions depend on shift and width values
instead of the pre-computed masks that the OMAP/AM33XX clk framework
has traditionally used when accessing the register to control the
mux or divisor.

To ease this transition the masks are left intact and
the width field is simply added alongside the shift and mask data.

Omar Ramirez Luna 90f1380ef6 ARM: OMAP2+: control: new APIs to configure boot address and mode
SCM contains boot addr and boot mode registers to control
other processors on different OMAP versions. It controls the
boot address and mode for DSP based subsystems like: IVA 2.1
(OMAP2430), IVA 2.2 (OMAP3) and DSP (OMAP4).

If contained within SCM registers, when a processor is
booting it uses BOOTADDR to start running the code at that
location. BOOTMOD register specifies a different set of
modes for the processor to execute when booting (from direct,
idle, self-loop, user and default).

Since there was no offset associated with OMAP4, this patch
defines it.

Hemant Pedanekar a920360f03 ARM: OMAP: TI81XX: Prepare for addition of TI814X support
This patch updates existing macros, functions used for TI816X, to enable
addition of other SoCs belonging to TI81XX family (e.g., TI814X).

The approach taken is to use TI81XX/ti81xx for code/data going to be common
across all TI81XX devices.

cpu_is_ti81xx() is introduced to handle code common across TI81XX devices.

In addition, ti8168_evm_map_io() is now replaced with ti81xx_map_io() and moved
in mach-omap2/common.c as same will be used for TI814X and is not board
specific.

Kevin Hilman 14c79bbed7 ARM: pm: omap34xx: remove get_*_restore_pointer functions, directly use entry points
Upon return from off-mode, the ROM code jumps to a restore function
saved in the scratchpad. Based on SoC revision or errata, this
restore entry point is different. Current code uses some helper
functions in sleep34xx.S (get_*_restore_pointer) to get the restore
function entry point.

When returning from off-mode, this code is executed from SDRAM, so
there's no reason to use these helper functions when using the SDRAM
entry points directly would work just fine.

This patch uses ENTRY/ENDPROC to create "real" entry points for these
functions, and uses those values directly when writing the scratchpad.

Tested all three entry points
- restore_es3: 3430/n900
- restore_3630: 3630/Zoom3
- restore: 3530/Overo

Thara Gopinath 2f34ce81b8 OMAP3: PM: Adding voltage driver support.
This patch adds voltage driver support for OMAP3. The driver
allows configuring the voltage controller and voltage
processors during init and exports APIs to enable/disable
voltage processors, scale voltage and reset voltage.
The driver maintains the global voltage table on a per
VDD basis which contains the various voltages supported by the
VDD along with per voltage dependent data like smartreflex
efuse offset, errminlimit and voltage processor errorgain.
The driver also allows the voltage parameters dependent on the
PMIC to be passed from the PMIC file through an API.
The driver allows scaling of VDD voltages either through
"vc bypass method" or through "vp forceupdate method" the
choice being configurable through the board file.

This patch contains code originally in linux omap pm branch
smartreflex driver. Major contributors to this driver are
Lesly A M, Rajendra Nayak, Kalle Jokiniemi, Paul Walmsley,
Nishant Menon, Kevin Hilman. The separation of PMIC parameters
into a separate structure which can be populated from
the PMIC file is based on the work of Lun Chang from Motorola
in an internal tree.

Move the padconf save code from pm34xx.c to the System Control Module
code in mach-omap2/control.c. This is part of the general push to
move direct register access from middle-layer core code to low-level
core code, so the middle-layer code can be abstracted to work on
multiple platforms and cleaned up.

In the medium-to-long term, this code should be called by the mux
layer code, not the PM idle code. This is because, according to the
TRM, saving the padconf only needs to be done when the padconf
changes[1].

RTA (Retention Till Access) feature is not supported and leads to device
stability issues when enabled. This impacts modules with embedded memories
on OMAP3630

Workaround is to disable RTA on boot and coming out of core off.
For disabling RTA coming out of off mode, we do this by overriding the
restore pointer for 3630 as the first point of entry before caches are
touched and is common for GP and HS devices. To disable earlier than
this could be possible by modifying the PPA for HS devices, but not for
GP devices.

Only OMAP2+ platforms have the System Control Module (SCM) IP block.
In the past, we've kept the SCM header file in plat-omap. This has
led to abuse - device drivers including it; includes being added that
create implicit dependencies on OMAP2+ builds; etc.

In response, move the SCM headers into mach-omap2/.

As part of this, remove the direct SCM access from the OMAP UDC
