Tony Lindgren 103fd8e7ac ARM: OMAP2+: Use signed value for sysc register offsets
We currently don't know if a revision register exists or not. Zero is
often a valid offset for the revision register. As we are still checking
device tree data against platform data, we will get bogus warnings with
correct device tree data because of incomplete platform data.

Let's fix the issue by using signed offsets and tag the revision registers
that don't exist with -ENODEV, and init the missing ones with the correct
revision register offset.

Suman Anna 1cddc36458 ARM: OMAP2+: Cleanup omap2_spi_dev_attr and other legacy data
The omap2_spi_dev_attr data was used to supply instance-specific
data for legacy non-DT devices. The SPI legacy device support
including the usage of the hwmod class revision data has been
dropped in commit 6f3ab009a1 ("ARM: OMAP2+: Remove unused legacy
code for device init") and this data is therefore no longer needed.
So, cleanup the structure and all the associated data in various
hwmod data files.

Suman Anna 5297e1d767 ARM: OMAP2+: Cleanup omap_i2c_dev_attr usage
The omap_i2c_dev_attr data was used to supply instance-specific
data for legacy non-DT devices. The I2C legacy device support has
been cleaned up in commit 65fa3e719f ("ARM: OMAP2+: Remove legacy
i2c.c platform init code") and this data is therefore no longer
needed. So, cleanup the structure and all the associated data in
various hwmod data files.

The i2c-omap.h header is still needed because of the need for
various OMAP_I2C_IP_VERSION_x macros.

The omap_gpio_dev_attr data was used to supply instance-specific
data for legacy non-DT devices. The GPIO legacy device support has
been cleaned up in commit 14944934f8 ("ARM: OMAP2+: Remove legacy

Tony Lindgren 6963c58461 ARM: OMAP2+: Fix MMC address space mismatch for am33xx and am43xx
The address space currently set up for the interconnect data
is different compared to the dts data. We have hwmod data with
offset 0x100 to account for the revision, sysc and syss
register offsets. Let's fix the issue by correcting the MMC
register offsets in hwmod data and removing the unnecessary
duplicate IO range data that we get from device tree anyways.

Dave Gerlach ddb0d99d53 ARM: OMAP2+: AM33XX: Add HWMOD_OMAP4_ZERO_CLKCTRL_OFFSET flag to rtc hwmod
The RTC hwmod on AM335x family of SoCs is unique in that the
clkctrl_offs in the PRCM is 0. We rely on a clkctrl_offs of zero as
indicating no clkctrl is present so we must flag this hwmod with
HWMOD_OMAP4_ZERO_CLKCTRL_OFFSET to indicate the 0 clkctrl_offs is in
fact valid in this case.

Franklin S Cooper Jr 015d859193 ARM: AM335x/AM437x: hwmod: Remove eQEP, ePWM and eCAP hwmod entries
Devices that utilize the OCP registers and/or PRCM registers and
register bit fields should be modeled using hwmod. Since eQEP, ePWM and
eCAP don't fall under this category, remove their hwmod entries.

Instead these clocks simply use the clock that is passed through by its
parent PWMSS. Therefore, PWMSS handles the clock for itself and its
subdevices.

Tony Lindgren 63aa945b10 memory: omap-gpmc: Add Kconfig option for debug
We support decoding the bootloader values if DEBUG is defined.
But we also need to change the struct omap_hwmod flags to have
HWMOD_INIT_NO_RESET to avoid the GPMC being reset during the
boot. Otherwise just the default timings will be displayed
instead of the bootloader configured timings.

This also allows us to clean up the various GPMC related
hwmod flags. For debugging, we only need HWMOD_INIT_NO_RESET,
and HWMOD_INIT_NO_IDLE is not needed.

Andreas Fenkart 5514343890 ARM: OMAP1/2+: MMC: separate platform data for mmc and mmc hs driver
- omap mmc driver supports multiplexing, omap_mmc_hs doesn't
this leads to one of the major confusions in the omap_hsmmc driver

- platform data should be read-only for the driver
most callbacks are not set by the omap3 platform init code while still
required. So they are set from the driver probe function, which is against
the paradigm that platform-data should not be modified by the driver
typical examples are card_detect, read_only callbacks

un-bundling by searching for driver name \"omap_hsmmc in the
arch/arm folder. omap_hsmmc_platform_data is not initialized directly,
but from omap2_hsmmc_info, which is defined in a separate header file
not touched by this patch

hwmod includes platform headers to declare features of the platform. All
the declared features are prefixed OMAP_HSMMC. There is no need to
include platform header from hwmod other except for feature defines

Andreas Fenkart 826c71a065 ARM: OMAP2: MMC: include mmc-omap platform header directly
Only a few files really need that platform header. When later splitting
omap_mmc_platform_data into omap_mmc and omap_mmc_hs, those files
declaring an hs mmc platform data will have to change the platform
include, which is a good sanity check.
Also removing omap242x_init_mmc, which is not used anywhere, checked
with grep.

Afzal Mohammed 6913952f56 ARM: OMAP2+: hwmod: AM43x support
Add hwmod support for IP's that are present in AM43x, but not in AM335x.
AM43x additional ones added here are,
1. synctimer
2. timer8-11
3. ehrpwm3-5
4. spi2-4
5. gpio4-5

AM43x pruss interconnect which is different as compared to AM335x, has
been taken care.

And register offsets for same hwmod's shared with AM335x is different,
AM43x register offsets are updated appropriately.

ocp clock of those in l4_wkup is fed from "sys_clkin_ck" instead of
"dpll_core_m4_div2_ck", so "ocpif" for those in AM43x l4_wkup has been
added seperately.

hwmod's has been added for those that have main clock (wkup_m3, control,
gpio0) and clock domain (l4_hs) different from AM335x. debugss and
adc_tsc that have different clocks and clockdomains repectively has not
been added due to the reasons mentioned below.

AM43x also has IP's like qspi, hdq1w, vpfe, des, rng, usb, dss, debugss,
adc_tsc. These are not handled here due to both/either of following
reasons,
1. To avoid churn; most of them don't have DT bindings, which would
necessitate adding address space in hwmod, which any way would have
to be removed once DT bindings happen with driver support.
2. patches would come in from sources other than the author

Afzal Mohammed 26649467ad ARM: OMAP2+: hwmod: AM335x/AM43x: move common data
AM335x and AM43x have most of the IP's and interconnect's similar.
Instead of adding redundant hwmod data, move interconnects and hwmod
similar between AM335x and AM43x to a common location. This helps in
reuse on AM43x.

AM335x interconnects that has difference and not present in AM43x are
not moved. ocp clock of those in l4_wkup is fed from a different source
for AM43x. Also pruss interconnect is different.

AM335x hwmod's that has difference other than prcm register offsets
(difference is in clocks of wkup_m3, control, gpio0, debugss and clock
domain of l4_hs, adc_tsc as compared to AM43x) and those that are not
present in AM43x are not moved.
