Paul E. McKenney 164a4daaea torture: Suppress false-positive CONFIG_INITRAMFS_SOURCE complaint
The scripting must supply the CONFIG_INITRAMFS_SOURCE Kconfig option
so that kbuild can find the desired initrd, but the configcheck.sh
script gets confused by this option because it takes a string instead
of the expected y/n/m. This causes checkconfig.sh to complain about
CONFIG_INITRAMFS_SOURCE in the torture-test output (though not in the
summary). As more people use rcutorture, the resulting confusion is
an increasing concern.

This commit therefore suppresses this false-positive warning by filtering
CONFIG_INITRAMFS_SOURCE from within the checkconfig.sh script.

Paul E. McKenney b038c58bd2 torture: Provide TMPDIR environment variable to specify tmpdir
Both rcutorture and locktorture currently place temporary files in /tmp,
in keeping with decades-long tradition. However, sometimes it is useful
to specify an alternative temporary directory, for example, for space
or performance reasons. This commit therefore causes the torture-test
scripting to use the path specified in the TMPDIR environment variable,
or to fall back to traditional /tmp if this variable is not set.

Paul E. McKenney 3c52f26227 rcutorture: Fix bug in reporting Kconfig mis-settings
Kconfig "select" clauses can defeat Kconfig-fragment file attempts to
clear a given Kconfig variable, and dependencies can defeat attempts to
set a given Kconfig variable. Because "select" clauses and dependencies
can be added at any time, there needs to be a way to verify that the
Kconfig-fragment file's requests were honored. And there is, except
that it is buggy. This commit therefore provides the needed fix.

Pranith Kumar 3327d924a7 rcutorture: Set executable bit and drop bash from Usage
This commit sets the executable bit on test scripts config2frag.sh
and kvm.sh. Since #!/bin/bash is set in all the scripts, this commit
also drops it from all usage lines because the scripts can now all be
invoked directly.

Pranith Kumar 1a5e31fbf9 rcutorture: Use bash shell for all the test scripts
Some of the scripts encode a default /bin/sh shell. On systems which use
dash as default shell, these scripts fail as they are bash scripts. I
encountered this while testing the sprintf() changes on a Debian system
where dash is the default shell.

This commit changes all such uses to use bash explicitly.

Paul E. McKenney 0e342a87d5 rcutorture: Stop tracking FSF's postal address
All of the rcutorture scripts has the usual GPL header, which contains
a long-obsolete postal address for FSF. To avoid the need to track the
FSF office's movements, this commit substitutes the URL where GPL may
be found.
