Vandana BN 92edb64da9 media: vivid: Set vid_cap_streaming and vid_out_streaming to true
commit b4add02d22 upstream.

When vbi stream is started, followed by video streaming,
the vid_cap_streaming and vid_out_streaming were not being set to true,
which would cause the video stream to stop when vbi stream is stopped.
This patch allows to set vid_cap_streaming and vid_out_streaming to true.
According to Hans Verkuil it appears that these 'if (dev->kthread_vid_cap)'
checks are a left-over from the original vivid development and should never
have been there.

Akinobu Mita 3fcedae346 media: vivid: remove unnecessary min and max timeperframe constants
The tpf_min (1/100) and tpf_max (100/1) are used as the lowest and the
highest allowable value for the desired frame period in
vivid_vid_cap_s_parm().

But the comparison between these values is unnecessary because the compared
value is already chosen from webcam_intervals[] (from 1/60 to 1/1).

Pull new experimental media request API from Mauro Carvalho Chehab:
 "A new media request API

  This API is needed to support device drivers that can dynamically
  change their parameters for each new frame. The latest versions of
  Google camera and codec HAL depends on such feature.

  At this stage, it supports only stateless codecs.

  It has been discussed for a long time (at least over the last 3-4
  years), and we finally reached to something that seem to work.

  This series contain both the API and core changes required to support
  it and a new m2m decoder driver (cedrus).

  As the current API is still experimental, the only real driver using
  it (cedrus) was added at staging[1]. We intend to keep it there for a
  while, in order to test the API. Only when we're sure that this API
  works for other cases (like encoders), we'll move this driver out of
  staging and set the API into a stone.

  [1] We added support for the vivid virtual driver (used only for
  testing) to it too, as it makes easier to test the API for the ones
  that don't have the cedrus hardware"

Hans Verkuil 9cfd2753f8 media: cec/v4l2: move V4L2 specific CEC functions to V4L2
Several CEC functions are actually specific for use with receivers,
i.e. they should be part of the V4L2 subsystem, not CEC.

These functions deal with validating and modifying EDIDs for (HDMI)
receivers, and they do not actually have anything to do with the CEC
subsystem and whether or not CEC is enabled. The problem was that if
the CEC_CORE config option was not set, then these functions would
become stubs, but that's not right: they should always be valid.

So replace the cec_ prefix by v4l2_ and move them to v4l2-dv-timings.c.
Update all drivers that call these accordingly.

Returning -EINVAL indicates wrong arguments, but that's not the case

Hans Verkuil df9ecb0cad [media] vb2: drop v4l2_format argument from queue_setup
The queue_setup callback has a void pointer that is just for V4L2
and is the pointer to the v4l2_format struct that was passed to

from that struct to buffers suitable for the requested format.

After the vb2 split series this pointer is now a void pointer,
which is ugly, and the reality is that all existing drivers will
effectively just look at the sizeimage field of v4l2_format.

To make this more generic the queue_setup callback is changed:
the void pointer is dropped, instead if the *num_planes argument
is 0, then use the current format size, if it is non-zero, then
it contains the number of requested planes and the sizes array
contains the requested sizes. If either is unsupported, then return
-EINVAL, otherwise use the requested size(s).

Junghak Sung 2d7007153f [media] media: videobuf2: Restructure vb2_buffer
Remove v4l2 stuff - v4l2_buf, v4l2_plane - from struct vb2_buffer.

Add new member variables - bytesused, length, offset, userptr, fd,
data_offset - to struct vb2_plane in order to cover all information
of v4l2_plane.
struct vb2_plane {
        <snip>
        unsigned int            bytesused;
        unsigned int            length;
        union {
                unsigned int    offset;
                unsigned long   userptr;
                int             fd;
        } m;
        unsigned int            data_offset;
}

Replace v4l2_buf with new member variables - index, type, memory - which
are common fields for buffer management.
struct vb2_buffer {
        <snip>
        unsigned int            index;
        unsigned int            type;
        unsigned int            memory;
        unsigned int            num_planes;
        struct vb2_plane        planes[VIDEO_MAX_PLANES];
        <snip>
};

v4l2 specific fields - flags, field, timestamp, timecode,
sequence - are moved to vb2_v4l2_buffer in videobuf2-v4l2.c
struct vb2_v4l2_buffer {
        struct vb2_buffer       vb2_buf;

        __u32                   flags;
        __u32                   field;

Prashant Laddha 5fea1bb703 [media] v4l2-dv-timings: add support for reduced blanking v2
Added support for reduced blanking version 2 (RB v2) in cvt timings.
Standard specifies a fixed vsync pulse of 8 lines to indicate RB v2
timings. Vertical back porch is fixed at 6 lines and vertical front
porch is remainder of vertical blanking time.

For RB v2, horizontal blanking is fixed at 80 pixels. Horizontal sync
is fixed at 32. All horizontal timing counts (active pixels, front,
back porches) can be specified upto a precision of 1.

RB v2 allows for non standard aspect ratios. In RB v2 vsync does not
indicate aspect ratio. In absence of aspect ratio v4l2_detect_cvt()
cannot calculate image width from image height. Hence extending the
v4l2_detect_cvt() to pass image width in case of RB v2.

Prashant Laddha 061ddda681 [media] v4l2-dv-timings: add interlace support in detect cvt/gtf
Extend detect_cvt/gtf API to indicate the format type (interlaced
or progressive). In case of interlaced, the vertical front and back
porch and vsync values for both (odd,even) fields are considered to
derive image height. Populated vsync, vertical front, back porch
values in bt timing structure for even and odd fields and updated
the flags appropriately.

Also modified the functions calling the detect_cvt/gtf(). As of now
these functions are calling detect_cvt/gtf() with interlaced flag
set to false.
