Stefan Wahren 07a4257e3d iio: mxs-lradc: clarify supported devices

   to some last reviews coming in, with resultant follow up patches.

  * Allocate standard buffer attributes in the core rather than in every
    driver with a buffer.
  * Make the length attribute read only when a driver is not able to set
    the length.
  * Drop the get_length callback for buffers as it is already available in
    struct iio_buffer.
  * Drop an unused arguement form iio_kfifo_allocate and add devm allocator
    for it.

  * Fix a resulting compile issue in dummy driver due to a stub taking
    wrong parameters as a result of the above rework.

Stefan Wahren a5b940fa4a DT: mxs-lradc: fix ranges of ts properties
This patch fixes off-by-one issues in the devicetree binding of
mxs-lradc.

According to the i.MX23 and i.MX28 reference manuals [1][2] the range of
NUM_SAMPLES is 0..31, but property ave-ctrl is substracted by 1 before used.

Considering all limitations the range of DELAY is 1..2047, but also
property ave-delay is substracted by 1 before used.

The patch has been suggested by Hartmut Knaack and Kristina Martsenko.

Philipp Zabel 6556f7f82b drm: imx: Move imx-drm driver out of staging
The imx-drm driver was put into staging mostly for the following reasons,
all of which have been addressed or superseded:
 - convert the irq driver to use linear irq domains
 - work out the device tree bindings, this lead to the common of_graph
   bindings being used
 - factor out common helper functions, this mostly resulted in the
   component framework and drm of_graph helpers.

Before adding new fixes, and certainly before adding new features,
move it into its proper place below drivers/gpu/drm.

Eli Billauer 7051924f77 xillybus: Move out of staging
This driver has been functional and stable throughout the year it has spent
in the staging area. It has been patched for minor bugs, coding style issues
and improvements during this period.

This is the second submission of this move-out, after making several style
improvements, as suggested by Dan Carpenter.

Markus Niebel 1b134c9c4b ARM: DT: imx53: fix lvds channel 1 port
using LVDS channel 1 on an i.MX53 leads to following error:

imx-ldb 53fa8008.ldb: unable to set di0 parent clock to ldb_di1

This comes from imx_ldb_set_clock with mux = 0. Mux parameter must be "1" for
reparenting di1 clock to ldb_di1. The value of the mux param comes from device
tree port settings.

On i.MX5, the internal two-input-multiplexer is used. Due to hardware limitations,
only one port (port@[0,1]) can be used for each channel (lvds-channel@[0,1],
respectively)

Stephen Warren 831eae69a8 staging: dwc2: set up all module params
The DWC2 USB controller in the BCM2835 (Raspberry Pi) needs some non-
default parameters. Select these based on the compatible value from the
DT node. For all other HW, fall back to the default parameters currently
in use.

The values in params_bcm2835[] were posted to the mailing list by Paul
quite some time ago. I made a couple of minor modifications since then;
to set ahbcfg instead of ahb_single, and to set uframe_sched.

This is the third and smallest of the SoC specific updates.

   to a common "mbus" driver for their internal devices.
 
 It would be good to get feedback on the location of the "mbus"
 driver. Since this is used on multiple platforms may potentially
 get shared with other architectures (powerpc and arm64), it
 was moved to drivers/bus/. We expect other similar drivers to
 get moved to the same place in order to avoid creating more
 top-level directories under drivers/ or cluttering up the
 messy drivers/misc/ even more.

Pull ARM SoC platform updates (part 3) from Arnd Bergmann:
 "This is the third and smallest of the SoC specific updates.  Changes

   - LPAE support for mvebu
   - Moving the orion5x, kirkwood, dove and mvebu platforms to a common

  Since this is used on multiple platforms may potentially get shared
  with other architectures (powerpc and arm64), it was moved to
  drivers/bus/.  We expect other similar drivers to get moved to the

Marek Vasut 06ddd353f5 iio: mxs: Implement support for touchscreen
This patch implements support for sampling of a touchscreen into
the MXS LRADC driver. The LRADC block allows configuring some of
it's channels into special mode where they either output the drive
voltage or sample it, allowing it to operate a 4-wire or 5-wire
resistive touchscreen.

In case the touchscreen mode is enabled, the LRADC slot #7 is
reserved for touchscreen only, therefore it is not possible to
sample 8 LRADC channels at time, but only 7 channels.

The touchscreen controller is configured such that the PENDOWN event
disables touchscreen interrupts and triggers execution of worker
thread, which then polls the touchscreen controller for X, Y and
Pressure values. This reduces the overhead of interrupt-driven
operation. Upon the PENUP event, the worker thread re-enables the
PENDOWN detection interrupt and exits.

Stefan Roese b3201b563d staging:iio:adc: Add SPEAr ADC driver
This patch implements the basic single data conversion support for
the SPEAr600 SoC ADC. The register layout of SPEAr600 differs a bit
from other SPEAr SoC variants (e.g. SPEAr3xx). These differences are
handled via DT compatible testing. Resulting in a multi-arch binary.

This driver is currently tested only on SPEAr600. Future patches may add
support for other SoC variants (SPEAr3xx) and features like software
buffer or DMA.
