Joe Perches d3757ba4c1 ethernet: Use octal not symbolic permissions

Arvind Yadav 7924a42133 net: ec_bhf: constify pci_device_id.
pci_device_id are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions
working with pci_device_id provided by <linux/pci.h> work with
const pci_device_id. So mark the non-const structs as const.

Johannes Berg 59ae1d127a networking: introduce and use skb_put_data()
A common pattern with skb_put() is to just want to memcpy()
some data into the new space, introduce skb_put_data() for

An spatch similar to the one for skb_put_zero() converts many
of the places using it:

stephen hemminger bc1f44709c net: make ndo_get_stats64 a void function
The network device operation for reading statistics is only called
in one place, and it ignores the return value. Having a structure
return value is potentially confusing because some future driver could
incorrectly assume that the return value was used.

Fix all drivers with ndo_get_stats64 to have a void function.

Thomas Gleixner 8b0e195314 ktime: Cleanup ktime_set() usage
ktime_set(S,N) was required for the timespec storage type and is still
useful for situations where a Seconds and Nanoseconds part of a time value
needs to be converted. For anything where the Seconds argument is 0, this
is pointless and can be replaced with a simple assignment.

Jarod Wilson a52ad514fd net: deprecate eth_change_mtu, remove usage
With centralized MTU checking, there's nothing productive done by
eth_change_mtu that isn't already done in dev_set_mtu, so mark it as
deprecated and remove all usage of it in the kernel. All callers have been
audited for calls to alloc_etherdev* or ether_setup directly, which means
they all have a valid dev->min_mtu and dev->max_mtu. Now eth_change_mtu
prints out a netdev_warn about being deprecated, for the benefit of
out-of-tree drivers that might be utilizing it.

Of note, dvb_net.c actually had dev->mtu = 4096, while using
eth_change_mtu, meaning that if you ever tried changing it's mtu, you
couldn't set it above 1500 anymore. It's now getting dev->max_mtu also set
to 4096 to remedy that.

Darek Marcinkiewicz 6af55ff52b Driver for Beckhoff CX5020 EtherCAT master module.
This driver adds support for EtherCAT master module located on CCAT
FPGA found on Beckhoff CX series industrial PCs. The driver exposes
EtherCAT master as an ethernet interface.

EtherCAT is a fieldbus protocol defined on top of ethernet and Beckhoff
CX5020 PCs come with built-in EtherCAT master module located on a FPGA,
which in turn is connected to a PCI bus.
