Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

Pre-modification code:
int hip04_mac_start_xmit(struct sk_buff *skb, struct net_device *ndev)
{
[...]
[1]	priv->tx_head = TX_NEXT(tx_head);
[2]	count++;
[3]	netdev_sent_queue(ndev, skb->len);
[...]
}
An rx interrupt occurs if hip04_mac_start_xmit just executes to the line 2,
tx_head has been updated, but corresponding 'skb->len' has not been
added to dql_queue.

And then
hip04_mac_interrupt->__napi_schedule->hip04_rx_poll->hip04_tx_reclaim

In hip04_tx_reclaim, because tx_head has been updated,
bytes_compl will plus an additional "skb-> len"
which has not been added to dql_queue. And then
trigger the BUG_ON(bytes_compl > num_queued - dql->num_completed).

To solve the problem described above, we put
"netdev_sent_queue(ndev, skb->len);"
before
"priv->tx_head = TX_NEXT(tx_head);"

Jiangfeng Xiao e56bd641ca net: hisilicon: Fix ping latency when deal with high throughput
This is due to error in over budget processing.
When dealing with high throughput, the used buffers
that exceeds the budget is not cleaned up. In addition,
it takes a lot of cycles to clean up the used buffer,
and then the buffer where the valid data is located can take effect.

Currently "rmmod hip04_eth.ko" call free_irq more than once
as devres_release_all and hip04_remove both call free_irq.
This results in a 'Trying to free already-free IRQ' warning.
To solve the problem free_irq has been moved out of hip04_remove.

Jiangfeng Xiao 96a50c0d90 net: hisilicon: Fix dma_map_single failed on arm64
On the arm64 platform, executing "ifconfig eth0 up" will fail,
returning "ifconfig: SIOCSIFFLAGS: Input/output error."

ndev->dev is not initialized, dma_map_single->get_dma_ops->
dummy_dma_ops->__dummy_map_page will return DMA_ERROR_CODE
directly, so when we use dma_map_single, the first parameter
is to use the device of platform_device.

Jiangfeng Xiao f2243b8278 net: hisilicon: fix hip04-xmit never return TX_BUSY
TX_DESC_NUM is 256, in tx_count, the maximum value of
mod(TX_DESC_NUM - 1) is 254, the variable "count" in
the hip04_mac_start_xmit function is never equal to
(TX_DESC_NUM - 1), so hip04_mac_start_xmit never
return NETDEV_TX_BUSY.

tx_count is modified to mod(TX_DESC_NUM) so that
the maximum value of tx_count can reach
(TX_DESC_NUM - 1), then hip04_mac_start_xmit can reurn
NETDEV_TX_BUSY.

Mark Rutland 6aa7de0591 locking/atomics: COCCINELLE/treewide: Convert trivial ACCESS_ONCE() patterns to READ_ONCE()/WRITE_ONCE()
Please do not apply this to mainline directly, instead please re-run the
coccinelle script shown below and apply its output.

For several reasons, it is desirable to use {READ,WRITE}_ONCE() in
preference to ACCESS_ONCE(), and new code is expected to use one of the
former. So far, there's been no reason to change most existing uses of
ACCESS_ONCE(), as these aren't harmful, and changing them results in
churn.

However, for some features, the read/write distinction is critical to
correct operation. To distinguish these cases, separate read/write
accessors must be used. This patch migrates (most) remaining
ACCESS_ONCE() instances to {READ,WRITE}_ONCE(), using the following
coccinelle script:

----
// Convert trivial ACCESS_ONCE() uses to equivalent READ_ONCE() and
// WRITE_ONCE()

// $ make coccicheck COCCI=/home/mark/once.cocci SPFLAGS="--include-headers" MODE=patch

Jarod Wilson a52ad514fd net: deprecate eth_change_mtu, remove usage
With centralized MTU checking, there's nothing productive done by
eth_change_mtu that isn't already done in dev_set_mtu, so mark it as
deprecated and remove all usage of it in the kernel. All callers have been
audited for calls to alloc_etherdev* or ether_setup directly, which means
they all have a valid dev->min_mtu and dev->max_mtu. Now eth_change_mtu
prints out a netdev_warn about being deprecated, for the benefit of
out-of-tree drivers that might be utilizing it.

Of note, dvb_net.c actually had dev->mtu = 4096, while using
eth_change_mtu, meaning that if you ever tried changing it's mtu, you
couldn't set it above 1500 anymore. It's now getting dev->max_mtu also set
to 4096 to remedy that.

Thomas Gleixner 48b63776c8 net: hip04: Make tx coalesce timer actually work
The code sets the expiry value of the timer to a relative value and
starts it with hrtimer_start_expires. That's fine, but that only works
once. The timer is started in relative mode, so the expiry value gets
overwritten with the absolut expiry time (now + expiry).

So once the timer expired, a new call to hrtimer_start_expires results
in an immidiately expired timer, because the expiry value is
already in the past.

Use the proper mechanisms to (re)start the timer in the intended way.

Support Hisilicon hip04 ethernet driver, including 100M / 1000M controller.
The controller has no tx done interrupt, reclaim xmitted buffer in the poll.

v13: Fix the problem of alignment parameters for function and checkpatch warming.

v12: According Alex's suggestion, modify the changelog and add MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE
     for hip04 ethernet.

v11: Add ethtool support for tx coalecse getting and setting, the xmit_more
     is not supported for this patch, but I think it could work for hip04,
     will support it later after some tests for performance better.

     Here are some performance test results by ping and iperf(add tx_coalesce_frames/users),
     it looks that the performance and latency is more better by tx_coalesce_frames/usecs.

     - Before:
     $ ping 192.168.1.1 ...
     === 192.168.1.1 ping statistics ===

     $ iperf -c 192.168.1.1 ...
     [ ID] Interval       Transfer     Bandwidth
     [  3]  0.0- 1.0 sec   115 MBytes   945 Mbits/sec

     - After:
     $ ping 192.168.1.1 ...
     === 192.168.1.1 ping statistics ===
     24 packets transmitted, 24 received, 0% packet loss, time 22999ms
     rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.178/0.190/0.380/0.041 ms

     $ iperf -c 192.168.1.1 ...
     [ ID] Interval       Transfer     Bandwidth
     [  3]  0.0- 1.0 sec   115 MBytes   965 Mbits/sec

v10: According David Miller and Arnd Bergmann's suggestion, add some modification
     for v9 version
     - drop the workqueue
     - batch cleanup based on tx_coalesce_frames/usecs for better throughput
     - use a reasonable default tx timeout (200us, could be shorted
       based on measurements) with a range timer
     - fix napi poll function return value
