Laurent Pinchart e042681894 ARM: shmobile: r8a7790: Remove legacy code
All r8a7790 boards are now used with multiplatform kernels only. We can
remove all the unused r8a7790 legacy device and clock registration code.

Magnus Damm a483dcbfa2 ARM: shmobile: lager: Remove legacy board support
Lager legacy support level is same as the DT case
so remove the legacy code and force people to move
over to using Multiplatform and DT.

Magnus Damm be2902416c ARM: shmobile: lager-reference: DTS-only board support
Remove redundant C board code for Lager Multiplatform,
everything is supported via DT these days anyway so it
is fine to rely on the MACHINE_START in setup-r8a7790.c.

Arnd Bergmann e3d1633297 ARM: shmobile: always build rcar setup for armv7
In a combined ARMv6/v7 kernel, the setup-rcar-gen2.c cannot
currently be compiled correctly because it uses the isb
instruction that is not available on ARMv6. Adding the
-march=armv7-a flag lets the compiler know that it is safe
to build this file for ARMv7.

Simon Horman 1ece7f7bb0 ARM: shmobile: Remove non-multiplatform Marzen reference support
Now that r8a7779 has CCF support remove the legacy Marzen reference
Kconfig bits CONFIG_MACH_MARZEN_REFERENCE for the non-multiplatform
case.

Starting from this commit Marzen board support is always enabled via
CONFIG_MACH_MARZEN, and CONFIG_ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM is used to select
between board-marzen.c and board-marzen-reference.c

The file board-marzen-reference.c can no longer be used together with
the legacy sh-clk clock framework, instead CCF is used.

Simon Horman 5016c81bf9 ARM: shmobile: r8a7779: Initial multiplatform support
Add Marzen and r8a7779 to CONFIG_SHMOBILE_MULTI. At this
point CCF is not yet supported so you cannot run this code
yet. For CCF support to happen several different components
are needed, and this is one simple portion that moves us
forward. Other patches need to build on top of this one.

Marzen board support exists in 3 flavours:
1) SHMOBILE_MULTI, MACH_MARZEN - board-marzen-reference.c (CCF + DT)
2) SHMOBILE, MACH_MARZEN_REFERENCE - board-marzen-reference.c (DT)
3) SHMOBILE, MACH_MARZEN - board-marzen.c (legacy C code)

When CCF is done then 2) will be removed. When 1) includes same features
as 3) then 3) will be removed.

Linus Torvalds c67d9ce166 ARM: SoC board support updates for 3.16
The bulk of this branch is updates for Renesas Shmobile. They are still
doing some enablement for classic boards first, and then come up with DT
bindings when they've had a chance to learn more about the hardware. Not
necessarily a bad way to go about it, and they're looking at moving some
of the temporary board code resulting from it to drivers/staging instead
 to avoid the churn here.

As a result of the shmobile clock cleanups, we end up merging quite a
bit of SH code here as well. We ended up merging it here instead of in
the cleanup branch due to the other board changes depending on it.

Magnus Damm 25f5550f5a ARM: shmobile: Introduce shmobile_clk_workaround()
Introduce a new clock workaround function used by DT reference
code on the mach-shmobile subarchitecture. The new function
shmobile_clk_workaround() is used to configure clkdev to
allow DT and platform devices to coexist. It is possible for
the DT reference board code to also request enabling of the clock
in case the driver does not implement clock control.

Linus Torvalds 930b440cd8 ARM: SoC: board changes
As we continue to replace board files with device tree descriptions,
this part of the ARM support is getting smaller. We have basically just
defconfig changes here this time, and a significant number of Renesas
shmobile changes, as Renesas is still in the process of deprecating
 board file support.

Magnus Damm 6d75bc6439 ARM: shmobile: Initial r8a7791 and Koelsch multiplatform support
Add Koelsch and r8a7791 to CONFIG_SHMOBILE_MULTI. At this
point CCF is not yet supported so you cannot run this code
yet. For CCF support to happen several different components
are needed, and this is one simple portion that moves us
forward. Other patches need to build on top of this one.

Koelsch board support exists in 3 flavors:
1) SHMOBILE_MULTI, MACH_KOELSCH - board-koelsch-reference.c (CCF + DT)
2) SHMOBILE, MACH_KOELSCH_REFERENCE - board-koelsch-reference.c (DT)
3) SHMOBILE, MACH_KOELSCH - board-koelsch.c (legacy C code)

When CCF is done then 2) will be removed. When 1) includes same features
as 3) then 3) will be removed.
