Michael Turquette 42ed83f516 arm: omap2+ remove dead clock code
Remove omap_clocks_register and dummy_ck. The former is not used anymore
now that the statically defined clk stuctures are replaced with proper
descriptors and registered with the framework.

The dummy clock in arch/arm/mach-omap2 is made redundant by the OMAP3+
clock data that migrated to drivers/clk.

An additional benefit to this clean-up is removing the references to
clk-private.h which will be removed.

Tomeu Vizoso 035a61c314 clk: Make clk API return per-user struct clk instances
Moves clock state to struct clk_core, but takes care to change as little API as
possible.

struct clk_hw still has a pointer to a struct clk, which is the
implementation's per-user clk instance, for backwards compatibility.

The struct clk that clk_get_parent() returns isn't owned by the caller, but by
the clock implementation, so the former shouldn't call clk_put() on it.

Because some boards in mach-omap2 still register clocks statically, their clock
registration had to be updated to take into account that the clock information
is stored in struct clk_core now.

Mike Turquette f9ae32a74f ARM: OMAP2+: clock: Cleanup !CONFIG_COMMON_CLK parts
Clean all #ifdef's added to common clock code. This code is no longer
needed due to migration to the common clock framework.

Rajendra Nayak cb26867ee2 ARM: OMAP4: clock: Add 44xx data using common struct clk
This patch is output from updated omap hw data autogeneration scripts
mostly contributed by Mike Turquette, with some later fixes from me.
All data is added into a new cclock44xx_data.c file which will be
switched with clock44xx_data.c file in a later patch.

Paul Walmsley 571efa0d3b ARM: OMAP3+: clock: Move common clksel_rate & clock data to common file
OMAP3, OMAP4 and AM33xx share some common data like, clksel_rate
oscillator clock input (Virtual clock nodes), required for
clock tree; so move common data to common data file so that it
can be reused.

Paul Walmsley 224113969d OMAP2xxx: clock: remove dsp_irate_ick
After commit 81b34fbecb ("OMAP2 clock:
split OMAP2420, OMAP2430 clock data into their own files"), it's
possible to remove dsp_irate_ick from the OMAP2420 and OMAP2430 clock
files. It was originally only needed due to a 2420/2430 clock tree difference,
and now that the data is in separate files, it's superfluous.

Paul Walmsley 63405360fc OMAP3 clock: rename RATE_IN_343X, RATE_IN_3430ES2 to match reality
Rename the RATE_IN_343X clksel_rate.rate flag to be RATE_IN_3XXX, to reflect
that these rates are valid on all OMAP3 platforms, not just 343X.

Also rename the RATE_IN_OMAP3430ES2 clksel_rate.rate flag to be
RATE_IN_OMAP3430ES2PLUS, to reflect that these flags are valid on all
OMAP3 platforms after 3430ES2.

This patch should not result in any functional changes.

Paul Walmsley d74b494971 OMAP2+ clock: remove DEFAULT_RATE clksel_rate flag
The DEFAULT_RATE clksel_rate flag is essentially useless. It was set
on some of the lowest divisors, which, when switching to a much
higher-rate parent, could have potentially resulted in rates that
exceeded the hardware specifications for downstream clocks in the
window between the clk_set_parent(), and a subsequent clk_set_rate().
It seems much safer to just remove the flag and always use the highest
available divisor (resulting in the lowest possible rate) after the
switch, and this patch does so.

Ideally, it would be best to first attempt to switch to a divisor that
matches the clock's rate with the previous parent, if at all possible.
But that is a project for some other day or some other person. The
parent changing code is rarely used.

Paul Walmsley 82e9bd5885 OMAP3 clock: convert clock34xx.h to clock34xx_data.c
The OMAP3 clock code currently #includes a large .h file full of static
data structures. Instead, define the data in a .c file.
