Rui Teng 82ba0d8ba4 Input: twl4030 - fix unsafe macro definition
The bitwise shift operator has lower priority than plus operator. So the
values on macros should be enclosed in parentheses.

For example, "(1 << 4 + 1)" means "(1 << (4 + 1))", but it is not expected
by the macros.

And also fix other two coding style problems reported by
scripts/checkpatch.pl.

we can use constant delay between scans.

Simon Horman 5186b8c41a Input: sh_keysc - remove dependency on SUPERH
A dependency on ARCH_SHMOBILE seems to be the best option for sh_keysc:

* For Super H based SoCs: sh_keysc is used on SH_MIGOR, SH_ECOVEC, SH_KFR2R09,
SH_7722_SOLUTION_ENGINE, and SH_7724_SOLUTION_ENGINE, which depend on
either CPU_SUBTYPE_SH7722 or CPU_SUBTYPE_SH7724, and both select
  ARCH_SHMOBILE.

* For ARM Based SoCs: Since the removal of legacy (non-multiplatform) support
this driver has not been used by any Renesas ARM based SoCs. The Renesas
ARM based SoCs currently select ARCH_SHMOBILE, however, it is planned
that this will no longer be the case.

This is part of an ongoing process to migrate from ARCH_SHMOBILE to
ARCH_RENESAS the motivation for which being that RENESAS seems to be a more
appropriate name than SHMOBILE for the majority of Renesas ARM based SoCs.

Arnd Bergmann 2d1a792357 Input: snvs_pwrkey - use __maybe_unused to hide pm functions
The SNVS power key driver has suspend/resume functions that
are accessed using SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS, which hide the reference
when CONFIG_PM_SLEEP is not set, resulting in a warning about
unused functions:

drivers/input/keyboard/snvs_pwrkey.c:183:12: error: 'imx_snvs_pwrkey_suspend' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-function]
drivers/input/keyboard/snvs_pwrkey.c:194:12: error: 'imx_snvs_pwrkey_resume' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-function]

This adds __maybe_unused annotations to let the compiler know
it can silently drop the function definition.

Arnd Bergmann 7ffae9909b Input: spear-keyboard - use __maybe_unused to hide pm functions
The spear keyboard driver uses #ifdef CONFIG_PM to hide its
power management functions, but then uses references from
SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS that are only present if both CONFIG_PM
and CONFIG_PM_SLEEP are set, resulting in a warning about unused
functions:

drivers/input/keyboard/spear-keyboard.c:292:12: error: 'spear_kbd_suspend' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-function]
drivers/input/keyboard/spear-keyboard.c:345:12: error: 'spear_kbd_resume' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-function]

This removes the #ifdef and instead uses a __maybe_unused
annotation.

Dmitry Torokhov 35f8679f57 Input: omap-keypad - remove dead check
Commit da1f026b53 ("Keyboard: omap-keypad:
use matrix_keypad.h") switched the driver to use matrix keypad
infrastructure, which made array of keycodes to be unsigned short, and
caused the test for negativity never trigger. This leads to the following
static checker warning:

	drivers/input/keyboard/omap-keypad.c:158 omap_kp_tasklet()
	warn: 'keycodes[]' is never negative.

Given that we did not care about this check for a few years already let's
simply remove it.

Hans de Goede 6f29d3b277 Input: gpio_keys_polled - add support for abs/rel axis
This changAdd support for EV_ABS / EV_REL events to the gpio-keys-polled driver.

The driver already allows specifying what type of events (key / rel / abs)
a button generates when pressed, but for rel / abs axis we also need to
specify which value this specific gpio represents.

One use case is digital joysticks / direction-pads which are hooked up to
gpio, in this case we've left and right buttons which we want to map to
EV_ABS, ABS_X and we want generate events for left with a value of -1 and
for right with a value of +1 (and similar for up / down and ABS_Y).

The driver depends on GOLDFISH but there isn't a build dependency
so it's a good idea to allow the driver to be built even if that

That way, the driver can be built with a config generated by make

In the cases where the gpio chip fails to acquire the current state an
error is reported back to gpio_keys. This is currently interpreted as if

Pull ARM SoC platform updates from Olof Johansson:
 "New or improved SoC support:

   - add support for Atmel's SAMA5D2 SoC
   - add support for Freescale i.MX6UL
   - improved support for TI's DM814x platform
   - misc fixes and improvements for RockChip platforms
   - Marvell MVEBU suspend/resume support

A few driver changes that ideally would belong in the drivers branch
are also here (acked by appropriate maintainers):

   - power key input driver for Freescale platforms (svns)
   - RTC driver updates for Freescale platforms (svns/mxc)
   - clk fixes for TI DM814/816X

+ a bunch of other changes for various platforms"

Peng Fan 4ea14a53d8 Input: gpio-keys - report error when disabling unsupported key
When trying to disable a key that is not supported by the device we should
report error, not do nothing and report success:

root@yocto:/sys/devices/soc0/gpio-keys# cat keys
114-116
root@yocto:/sys/devices/soc0/gpio-keys# echo 77 > keys
root@yocto:/sys/devices/soc0/gpio-keys#

We want 'echo 77 > keys' to report an error, but silence to give us an
illusion that all is 'ok'.

Vincent Pelletier 1ae5ddb6f8 Input: gpio_keys_polled - request GPIO pin as input.
GPIOF_IN flag was lost in:
Commit 633a21d80b4a("input: gpio_keys_polled: Add support for GPIO
descriptors").

Without this flag, legacy code path (for non-descriptor GPIO declarations)
would configure GPIO as output (0 meaning GPIOF_DIR_OUT | GPIOF_INIT_LOW).

Javier Martinez Canillas 95ecdc2549 Input: cros_ec_keyb - replace KEYBOARD_CROS_EC dependency
The ChromeOS EC keyboard driver config depends on CROS_EC_PROTO but
MFD_CROS_EC selects CROS_EC_PROTO instead. Mixing select and depends
on is bad practice as it may lead to circular Kconfig dependencies.

Since the platform device that is matched with the keyboard driver
is registered by the ChromeOS EC mfd driver, KEYBOARD_CROS_EC really
should depend on MFD_CROS_EC. And because this config option selects
CROS_EC_PROTO, that dependency is met as well. So make the driver
to depend on MFD_CROS_EC instead of CROS_EC_PROTO.

Geert Uytterhoeven 7d6548abcf Input: Allow compile test of GPIO consumers if !GPIOLIB
The GPIO subsystem provides dummy GPIO consumer functions if GPIOLIB is
not enabled. Hence drivers that depend on GPIOLIB, but use GPIO consumer
functionality only, can still be compiled if GPIOLIB is not enabled.

Relax the dependency on GPIOLIB if COMPILE_TEST is enabled, where
appropriate.
