Ville Syrjälä ad40f8b314 drm/i915: Nuke icl_calc_dp_combo_pll_link()
We already have the code to calculate the WRPLL output clock from
the register values, but for some reason we're only using it for
HDMI and not DP. Throw out the inflexible DP DPLL table lookup and
just call the HDMI code which decodes the actual register values.

Lucas De Marchi 584fca111d drm/i915/icl: use tc_port in MG_PLL macros
Fix the TODO leftover in the code by changing the argument in MG_PLL
macros. The MG_PLL ids used to access the register values can be
converted from tc_port rather than port.

All these registers can use the TC port to calculate the right offsets
because they are only available for TC ports. The range (PORT_C onwards)
may not be stable and change from platform to platform. So by using the
TC id directly we avoid having to check for the platform in the "leaf
functions" and thus passing dev_priv around.

The helper functions were also renamed to use "tc" as prefix to make
them more generic.

Atm we're zeroing out fields in MG_PLL_BIAS and MG_PLL_TDC_COLDST_BIAS

Although the calculated values mostly match the register defaults even
for the 38.4MHz case, there are some differences wrt. what BIOS
programs (I noticed at least differences in the MG_PLL_BIAS/IREFTRIM and
MG_PLL_BIAS/BIASCAL_EN fields). In the lack of further info on how to
program these fields, just do what the spec says and preserve the BIOS

Manasi Navare 51c83cfaf9 drm/i915/icl: Get DDI clock for ICL based on PLLs.
PLLs are the source clocks for the DDIs so in order
to determine the ddi clock we need to check the PLL
configuration.

This gets a little tricky for ICL since there is
no register bit that maps directly to the link clock.
So this patch creates a separate function in intel_dpll_mgr.c
to obtain the write array PLL Params and compares the set
pll_params with the table to get the corresponding link
clock.

v2:
  - Fix the encoder type check (DK).
  - Improve our error checking, return a sane value (Mika, Paulo).

Durgadoss R a277ca7dc0 drm/i915: Split bxt_ddi_pll_select()
Split out of bxt_ddi_pll_select() the logic that calculates the pll
dividers and dpll_hw_state into a new function that doesn't depend on
crtc state. This will be used for enabling the port pll when doing
upfront link training.

v2:
* Refactored code so that bxt_clk_div need not be exported (Durga)
v1:
* Rebased on top of intel_dpll_mgr.c (Durga)
* Initial version from Ander on top of intel_ddi.c

Maarten Lankhorst 2dd66ebde4 drm/i915: Use a crtc mask instead of a refcount for dpll functions, v2.
This makes it easier to verify correct dpll setup with only a single crtc.
It is also useful to detect double dpll enable/disable.

Changes since v1:
- Rebase on top of Ander's dpll rework.
- Change debugfs active to a mask.
- Change enabled_crtcs and active_crtcs to unsigned.

Ander Conselvan de Oliveira daedf20a4f drm/i915: Move HSW/BDW pll selection logic to intel_dpll_mgr.c
Move the code for selecting and configuring HSW/BDW DDI PLLs into the
shared dpll infrastructure. With this most of the PLL selection logic
for those platforms is in one place. DisplayPort is handled separately,
but that should be fixed on a follow up patch. It also allows a small
clean up of the SPLL logic.

Ander Conselvan de Oliveira f9476a6c6d drm/i915: Refactor platform specifics out of intel_get_shared_dpll()
The function intel_get_shared_dpll() had a more or less generic
implementation with some platform specific checks to handle smaller
differences between platforms. However, the minimalist approach forces
bigger differences between platforms to be implemented outside of the
shared dpll code (see the *_ddi_pll_select() functions in intel_ddi.c,
for instance).

This patch changes the implementation of intel_get_share_dpll() so that
a completely platform specific version can be used, providing helpers to
reduce code duplication. This should allow the code from the ddi pll
select functions to be moved, and also make room for making more dplls
managed by the shared dpll infrastructure.
