Thomas Petazzoni 56aeb07c91 ARM: dts: kirkwood: fix pin-muxing of MPP7 on OpenBlocks A7
MPP7 is currently muxed as "gpio", but this function doesn't exist for
MPP7, only "gpo" is available. This causes the following error:

kirkwood-pinctrl f1010000.pin-controller: unsupported function gpio on pin mpp7
pinctrl core: failed to register map default (6): invalid type given
kirkwood-pinctrl f1010000.pin-controller: error claiming hogs: -22
kirkwood-pinctrl f1010000.pin-controller: could not claim hogs: -22
kirkwood-pinctrl f1010000.pin-controller: unable to register pinctrl driver
kirkwood-pinctrl: probe of f1010000.pin-controller failed with error -22

So the pinctrl driver is not probed, all device drivers (including the
UART driver) do a -EPROBE_DEFER, and therefore the system doesn't
really boot (well, it boots, but with no UART, and no devices that
require pin-muxing).

Back when the Device Tree file for this board was introduced, the
definition was already wrong. The pinctrl driver also always described
as "gpo" this function for MPP7. However, between Linux 4.10 and 4.11,
a hog pin failing to be muxed was turned from a simple warning to a
hard error that caused the entire pinctrl driver probe to bail
out. This is probably the result of commit 6118714275 ("pinctrl:
core: Fix pinctrl_register_and_init() with pinctrl_enable()").

This commit fixes the Device Tree to use the proper "gpo" function for
MPP7, which fixes the boot of OpenBlocks A7, which was broken since
Linux 4.11.

Sebastian Hesselbarth d7e1c07630 ARM: dts: kirkwood: set default pinctrl for I2C1 on 6282
Currently, the only 6282-based Kirkwood boards that use I2C1 are Openblocks
A6/A7. Both use the same default I2C1 pinctrl setting from kirkwood-6282.dtsi.
Move the pinctrl setting to the I2C1 node directly and put a note in front of
the corresponding pinctrl node to overwrite the setting on board level.

Sebastian Hesselbarth cbfaea96ac ARM: dts: kirkwood: set default pinctrl for NAND
There is only one valid pinctrl setting for NAND on Kirkwood. Now that we
have the setting in the common SoC pinctrl, move it to the NAND controller
node directly and remove it from the individual boards.

While at it, also fix up status = "okay" to "ok" on one board's NAND node.

Sebastian Hesselbarth 9f2339a697 ARM: dts: kirkwood: set default pinctrl for UART0/1
Most boards use the default UART0/1 pinctrl setting without RTS/CTS.
Add the pinctrl setting to the toplevel SoC UART nodes and put a note
in front of the corresponding pinctrl node to overwrite the setting
on board level. Currently, both boards using a different UART pinctrl
setting (Openblocks A6, A7) already overwrite the pinctrl node.

While at it, also fix up some status = "ok" to "okay" and again
whitespace issues on mplcec4 uart nodes.

Grant Likely 40aad3c1a9 dt/bindings: Remove all references to device_type "ethernet-phy"
The device_type property is deprecated for the flattened device tree and
the value "ethernet-phy" has never been defined as having a useful
meaning. Neither the kernel nor u-boot depend on it. It should never
have appeared in PHY bindings. This patch removes all references to
"ethernet-phy" as a device_type value from the documentation and the
.dts files.

This patch was generated mechanically with the following command and
then verified by looking at the diff.

sed -i '/"ethernet-phy"/d' `git grep -l '"ethernet-phy"'`

Thomas Petazzoni f24b56cbcd ARM: kirkwood: add support for OpenBlocks A7 platform
The OpenBlocks A7 board is designed and sold by PlatHome, and based on
a Kirkwood 6283 Marvell SoC. It is quite similar to the OpenBlocks A6
already supported in the kernel, with the following main differences:

 - The A6 uses a RTC on I2C, while the A7 uses the internal SoC RTC.

 - The A6 has one Ethernet port, while the A7 has two Ethernet ports

 - The A6 has only one USB port, while the A7 integrates a USB hub,
which provides two front-side USB port, and an internal USB port as
   well.

 - The A6 has 512 MB of RAM, while the A7 has 1 GB of RAM.

 - Slightly different GPIOs for some functions.
