Per-cpu cgroup local storage is very similar to simple cgroup storage except all the data is per-cpu. The main goal of per-cpu variant is to implement super fast counters (e.g. packet counters), which don't require neither lookups, neither atomic operations in a fast path. The example of these hybrid counters is in selftests/bpf/netcnt_prog.c 3) allow HW offload of programs with BPF-to-BPF function calls from Quentin Monnet 4) support more than 64-byte key/value in HW offloaded BPF maps from Jakub Kicinski 5) rename of libbpf interfaces from Andrey Ignatov. libbpf is maturing as a library and should follow good practices in library design and implementation to play well with other libraries. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
