As SD Host Controller Specification v4.10 documents: Host Controller Version 4.10 defines this "Auto CMD Auto Select" mode. Selection of Auto CMD depends on setting of CMD23 Enable in the Host Control 2 register which indicates whether card supports CMD23. If CMD23 Enable =1, Auto CMD23 is used and if CMD23 Enable =0, Auto CMD12 is used. In case of Version 4.10 or later, use of Auto CMD Auto Select is recommended rather than use of Auto CMD12 Enable or Auto CMD23 Enable. This patch add this new mode support. There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
