Vitor Massaru Iha ca3a2ca4cf um: ensure `make ARCH=um mrproper` removes arch/$(SUBARCH)/include/generated/
commit 63ec90f182 upstream.

In this workflow:

$ make ARCH=um defconfig && make ARCH=um -j8
  [snip]
$ make ARCH=um mrproper
  [snip]
$ make ARCH=um defconfig O=./build_um && make ARCH=um -j8 O=./build_um
  [snip]
  CC      scripts/mod/empty.o

                 from ../scripts/mod/devicetable-offsets.c:3:
../include/uapi/linux/types.h:5:10: fatal error: asm/types.h: No such file or directory
    5 | #include <asm/types.h>
      |          ^~~~~~~~~~~~~
compilation terminated.

make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/iha/sdb/opensource/lkmp/linux-kselftest.git/build_um'
make: *** [Makefile:180: sub-make] Error 2

The cause of the error was because arch/$(SUBARCH)/include/generated files
weren't properly cleaned by `make ARCH=um mrproper`.

Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
