From 9f27889f3a96ff356ac92688cc0c4be3935ae3af Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Carlos Maiolino Date: Wed, 6 Apr 2016 09:46:30 +1000 Subject: [PATCH 1/3] xfs: Add caller function output to xfs_log_force tracepoint I had sent this patch yesterday, but for some reason it didn't reach xfs list, sending again. Output the caller of xfs_log_force might be useful when tracing log checkpoint problems without the need to build kernel with DEBUG. This helps to avoid new allocations if we are still in the slab bucket. At least for the bmap btree root that's actually the common case. This also allows removing the now unused oldsize argument.
