Scripts & misc for using SatNOGS client on Raspberry Pi.

dd bs=4M if=2019-09-11-Raspbian-SatNOGS-lite.img of=/dev/sde conv=fsync

Boot

Set up DHCP.

SSH user pi, password raspberry.

ssh pi@192.168.1.100

Configure

sudo raspi-config

Set date (or apt won't run).

date --set=20191122 date --set=16:40:00

Set up apt cache.
Run update.
Install packages:

apt install vim ntpdate molly-guard

Turn off junk at boot:

for i in avahi-daemon.service avahi-daemon.socket bluetooth.service wpa_supplicant.service nfs-client.target do systemctl stop $i ; systemctl disable $i ; done

Maybe too: snmpd.service

Really turn off avahi:

vi /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf

Set to: use-ipv4=no use-ipv6=no

Do all the things.

reboot

SatNOGS Setup

As user pi:

satnogs-setup
