pt "Português" translation #9085. Author: Gogodoff. Well as a portuguese and english fluent speaker (native portuguese), I noticed some slight inaccuracies in the portuguese translation. Even though it is not technically incorrect, the word used to translate "training" was "treinamento", which is a slang term used in Brazil only. Portuguese is spoken in 6 countries other than Brazil, so to be fully understood I think that using the correct Portuguese term is better for lichess.org. It wont affect Brazil users, and it will prevent other portuguese speaking countries from misunderstanding. Other than changing "treinamento" to "treino", I added some determinants and other small details to make it faster to read and instantly understand each sentence. Hope it helped. I am used to play in English websites and used to the English terms, and one translation that I find quite complicated is "rated" and "unrated". Because we don't have such words in Portuguese, and the current portuguese translation basically means "points at stake" and "points not at stake". I went to some other websites and i think that this is a common problem when translating to Portuguese, If i think of something better I will come back. Other things that in my opinion wouldn't require translation are topics with the word "chat". It is considered an international word and everyone knows what it is. It is used in normal daily conversations everywhere.
