Maxwell Hardware Notes
Comfast EW-72
The Maxwell "Outdoor" model is the Comfast EW-72.
To disassemble, remove SMA bolts/washers/o-ring at top. Remove main sticker from back (just move it to the front). Remove two screws that were under the sticker.
Power
The EW-72 can be powered straight from the PCB, bypassing the need for PoE. This is more efficient for power constrained environments.
Dr. Andy Haas in esnail: "There's a missing electrolytic cap. I put +15 V on the black side, and gnd on the white. It doesn't work below 14V, sorry."
