Bogdan Purcareata e97ed1f13d staging: fsl-dpaa2/mac: Add Freescale DPAA2 mac driver
Introduce the DPAA2 mac driver, which manages Datapath
Media Access Control (DPMAC) objects discovered on the
MC bus.

This driver works as a proxy between phylib including phy
drivers and the Management Complex firmware. It receives
updates on link state changes from PHY lib and forwards
them to the Management Complex and receives interrupts
from the Management Complex whenever a request is made to
change the link state.

Greg Kroah-Hartman 99b75a4e32 staging: add missing SPDX lines to Kconfig files
There are a few remaining drivers/staging/*/Kconfig files that do not
have SPDX identifiers in them. Add the correct GPL-2.0 identifier to
them to make scanning tools happy.

Ioana Radulescu 34ff68465a dpaa2-eth: Move DPAA2 Ethernet driver from staging to drivers/net
The DPAA2 Ethernet driver supports Freescale/NXP SoCs with DPAA2
(DataPath Acceleration Architecture v2). The driver manages
network objects discovered on the fsl-mc bus.

Arnd Bergmann 916c0c4b83 staging: fsl-dpaa2/rtc: fix PTP dependency
We can't select PTP_1588_CLOCK when posix timers are completely
disabled:

WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for PTP_1588_CLOCK
  Depends on [n]: NET [=y] && POSIX_TIMERS [=n]
  Selected by [y]:
  - FSL_DPAA2_PTP_CLOCK [=y] && STAGING [=y] && FSL_DPAA2_ETH [=y]

This adds the necessary dependency.

Yangbo Lu 3c2b8df02c staging: fsl-dpaa2/rtc: support phc_index of ethtool_ts_info
This patch is to support phc_index of ethtool_ts_info.
Also make the rtc drvier depend on FSL_DPAA2_ETH because
this driver is only useful when PTP programs are getting
hardware time stamps on the PTP Ethernet packets using the
SO_TIMESTAMPING API.

Yangbo Lu 9bdf43b3d4 staging: fsl-dpaa2/rtc: add rtc driver
This patch is to add driver for the DPAA2 1588 timer module (RTC)
which interfaces to up to an unlimited number of 10/100/1000 or
10G ethernet MACs, providing current time, alarm, and fiper support.
The 1588 IP control block includes these distinctive features.

- External GPIO trigger for time-stamping
- 2 Time-stamp alarms
- 3 FIPER pulse generators
- Phase adjusted output timer clock

Currently this driver only supports basic functions like
settime/gettime/adjtime/adjfreq.

Ioana Radulescu fdff86229f staging: fsl-dpaa2/eth: allow the driver to compile multi-arch
Drop dependency on ARCH_LAYERSCAPE (which in turn depends on ARM64),
thus allowing this driver to compile on all architectures supported
by the fsl-mc bus driver.

This was compile tested on:
 - powerpc (corenet_basic_defconfig, ppc64_defconfig)
 - x86 (i386_defconfig, x86_64_defconfig, needs CONFIG_OF)
 - arm64 (defconfig)

Laurentiu Tudor 0327485027 staging: fsl-mc: allow the driver compile multi-arch
Add an alternate dependency on COMPILE_TEST, thus leaving
this driver compile on other architectures.
Also, other drivers depending on the bus are updated to depend
on ARCH_LAYERSCAPE until they'll also be made multi-arch.
This was compiled tested on:
 - booke powerpc (corenet{32,64}_smp_defconfig)
 - x86 (i386_defconfig, x86_64_defconfig, needs CONFIG_OF)
 - arm64 (defconfig)
