Aya Levin 6d9c8d15af net/mlx4_core: Fix init_hca fields offset
Slave function read the following capabilities from the wrong offset:
1. log_mc_entry_sz
2. fs_log_entry_sz
3. log_mc_hash_sz

Fix that by adjusting these capabilities offset to match firmware
layout.

Due to the wrong offset read, the following issues might occur:
1+2. Negative value reported at max_mcast_qp_attach.
3. Driver to init FW with multicast hash size of zero.

Moshe Shemesh dc64cc7c63 devlink: Add devlink reload limit option
Add reload limit to demand restrictions on reload actions.
Reload limits supported:
no_reset: No reset allowed, no down time allowed, no link flap and no
          configuration is lost.

By default reload limit is unspecified and so no constraints on reload
actions are required.

Some combinations of action and limit are invalid. For example, driver
can not reinitialize its entities without any downtime.

The no_reset reload limit will have usecase in this patchset to
implement restricted fw_activate on mlx5.

Have the uapi parameter of reload limit ready for future support of
multiselection.

Moshe Shemesh ccdf07219d devlink: Add reload action option to devlink reload command
Add devlink reload action to allow the user to request a specific reload
action. The action parameter is optional, if not specified then devlink
driver re-init action is used (backward compatible).
Note that when required to do firmware activation some drivers may need
to reload the driver. On the other hand some drivers may need to reset
the firmware to reinitialize the driver entities. Therefore, the devlink
reload command returns the actions which were actually performed.
Reload actions supported are:
driver_reinit: driver entities re-initialization, applying devlink-param
               and devlink-resource values.
fw_activate: firmware activate.

command examples:
$devlink dev reload pci/0000:82:00.0 action driver_reinit
reload_actions_performed:
  driver_reinit

$devlink dev reload pci/0000:82:00.0 action fw_activate
reload_actions_performed:
  driver_reinit fw_activate

The register reads should be OK, because the current
implementation of readl and friends will always execute even
without an lvalue.

When it makes sense, just remove the lvalue assignment and the
local. Other times, just remove the offending code, and
occasionally, just mark the variable as maybe unused since it
could be used in an ifdef or debug scenario.

Only compile tested with W=1.

Jakub Kicinski 12d342fea1 mlx4: add pause frame stats
Check if the pause stats are reported by HW by checking the bitmap.
Calculation is based on the order of strings in main_strings from
ethtool -S. Hopefully the semantics of these stats match the standard..

Luo Jiaxing e5e252ba21 net: ethernet: mlx4: Avoid assigning a value to ring_cons but not used it anymore in mlx4_en_xmit()
We found a set but not used variable 'ring_cons' in mlx4_en_xmit(), it will
cause a warning when build the kernel. And after checking the commit record
of this function, we found that it was introduced by a previous patch.

So, We delete this redundant assignment code.

Jakub Kicinski 0313c7c2e4 mlx4: make sure to always set the port type
Even tho mlx4_core registers the devlink ports, it's mlx4_en
and mlx4_ib which set their type. In situations where one of
the two is not built yet the machine has ports of given type
we see the devlink warning from devlink_port_type_warn() trigger.

Having ports of a type not supported by the kernel may seem
surprising, but it does occur in practice - when the unsupported
port is not plugged in to a switch anyway users are more than happy
not to see it (and potentially allocate any resources to it).

Set the type in mlx4_core if type-specific driver is not built.

Shung-Hsi Yu cbedcb044e net: ethernet: mlx4: Fix memory allocation in mlx4_buddy_init()
On machines with much memory (> 2 TByte) and log_mtts_per_seg == 0, a
max_order of 31 will be passed to mlx_buddy_init(), which results in
s = BITS_TO_LONGS(1 << 31) becoming a negative value, leading to
kvmalloc_array() failure when it is converted to size_t.

  mlx4_core 0000:b1:00.0: Failed to initialize memory region table, aborting
  mlx4_core: probe of 0000:b1:00.0 failed with error -12

Fix this issue by changing the left shifting operand from a signed literal to
an unsigned one.

Andrii Nakryiko e8407fdeb9 bpf, xdp: Remove XDP_QUERY_PROG and XDP_QUERY_PROG_HW XDP commands
Now that BPF program/link management is centralized in generic net_device
code, kernel code never queries program id from drivers, so
XDP_QUERY_PROG/XDP_QUERY_PROG_HW commands are unnecessary.

This patch removes all the implementations of those commands in kernel, along
the xdp_attachment_query().

This patch was compile-tested on allyesconfig.

Vaibhav Gupta 0e3e206a3e mlx4: use generic power management
With legacy PM, drivers themselves were responsible for managing the
device's power states and takes care of register states.

After upgrading to the generic structure, PCI core will take care of
required tasks and drivers should do only device-specific operations.

Use "struct dev_pm_ops" variable to bind the callbacks.

Compile-tested only.

Masahiro Yamada a7f7f6248d treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'
Since commit 84af7a6194 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over
'---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually
decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances.

This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines,
I also fixed the indentation.

There are a variety of indentation styles found.

  a) 4 spaces + '---help---'
  b) 7 spaces + '---help---'
  c) 8 spaces + '---help---'
  d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---'
  e) 1 tab + '---help---'    (correct indentation)
  f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---'
  g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---'

In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the
following commend:

  $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/'

Qiushi Wu febfd9d3c7 net/mlx4_core: fix a memory leak bug.
In function mlx4_opreq_action(), pointer "mailbox" is not released,
when mlx4_cmd_box() return and error, causing a memory leak bug.

Jesper Dangaard Brouer d201ea9ebc mlx4: Add XDP frame size and adjust max XDP MTU
The mlx4 drivers size of memory backing the RX packet is stored in
frag_stride. For XDP mode this will be PAGE_SIZE (normally 4096).
For normal mode frag_stride is 2048.

Also adjust MLX4_EN_MAX_XDP_MTU to take tailroom into account.

Tariq Toukan 40e473071d net/mlx4_core: Fix use of ENOSPC around mlx4_counter_alloc()
When ENOSPC is set the idx is still valid and gets set to the global
MLX4_SINK_COUNTER_INDEX.  However gcc's static analysis cannot tell that
ENOSPC is impossible from mlx4_cmd_imm() and gives this warning:

Eric Dumazet cf4058dbaa net/mlx4_en: use napi_complete_done() in TX completion
In order to benefit from the new napi_defer_hard_irqs feature,
we need to use napi_complete_done() variant in this driver.

RX path is already using it, this patch implements TX completion side.

mlx4_en_process_tx_cq() now returns the amount of retired packets,
instead of a boolean, so that mlx4_en_poll_tx_cq() can pass
this value to napi_complete_done().

A recent commit e893768179 ("devlink: prepare to support region
operations") used the region_cr_space_str and region_fw_health_str
variables as initializers for the devlink_region_ops structures.

This can result in compiler errors:

recent GCC (gcc (GCC) 9.2.1 20190827 (Red Hat 9.2.1-1) for this author).

Unfortunately this is not enough for older compilers to realize that the
variable can be treated as a constant expression.

Fix this by introducing macros for the string and use those instead of
the variable name in the region ops structures.

Jacob Keller 12102436ac devlink: track snapshot id usage count using an xarray
Each snapshot created for a devlink region must have an id. These ids
are supposed to be unique per "event" that caused the snapshot to be
created. Drivers call devlink_region_snapshot_id_get to obtain a new id
to use for a new event trigger. The id values are tracked per devlink,
so that the same id number can be used if a triggering event creates
multiple snapshots on different regions.

There is no mechanism for snapshot ids to ever be reused. Introduce an
xarray to store the count of how many snapshots are using a given id,
replacing the snapshot_id field previously used for picking the next id.

The devlink_region_snapshot_id_get() function will use xa_alloc to
insert an initial value of 1 value at an available slot between 0 and
U32_MAX.

The new __devlink_snapshot_id_increment() and
__devlink_snapshot_id_decrement() functions will be used to track how
many snapshots currently use an id.

Drivers must now call devlink_snapshot_id_put() in order to release
their reference of the snapshot id after adding region snapshots.

By tracking the total number of snapshots using a given id, it is
possible for the decrement() function to erase the id from the xarray
when it is not in use.

With this method, a snapshot id can become reused again once all
snapshots that referred to it have been deleted via
DEVLINK_CMD_REGION_DEL, and the driver has finished adding snapshots.

This work also paves the way to introduce a mechanism for userspace to
request a snapshot.

Jacob Keller 7ef19d3b1d devlink: report error once U32_MAX snapshot ids have been used
The devlink_snapshot_id_get() function returns a snapshot id. The
snapshot id is a u32, so there is no way to indicate an error code.

A future change is going to possibly add additional cases where this
function could fail. Refactor the function to return the snapshot id in
an argument, so that it can return zero or an error value.

This ensures that snapshot ids cannot be confused with error values, and
aids in the future refactor of snapshot id allocation management.

Because there is no current way to release previously used snapshot ids,
add a simple check ensuring that an error is reported in case the
snapshot_id would over flow.

Modify the devlink region code in preparation for adding new operations
on regions.

Create a devlink_region_ops structure, and move the name pointer from
within the devlink_region structure into the ops structure (similar to
the devlink_health_reporter_ops).

This prepares the regions to enable support of additional operations in
the future such as requesting snapshots, or accessing the region
directly without a snapshot.

In order to re-use the constant strings in the mlx4 driver their
declaration must be changed to 'const char * const' to ensure the
compiler realizes that both the data and the pointer cannot change.
