Yonglong Liu 18d219b783 net: hns3: fix a -Wformat-nonliteral compile warning
When setting -Wformat=2, there is a compiler warning like this:

hclge_main.c:xxx:x: warning: format not a string literal and no
format arguments [-Wformat-nonliteral]
strs[i].desc);
^~~~

This patch adds missing format parameter "%s" to snprintf() to
fix it.

Yunsheng Lin 04f25edb48 net: hns3: add some error checking in hclge_tm module
When hdev->tx_sch_mode is HCLGE_FLAG_VNET_BASE_SCH_MODE, the
hclge_tm_schd_mode_vnet_base_cfg calls hclge_tm_pri_schd_mode_cfg
with vport->vport_id as pri_id, which is used as index for
hdev->tm_info.tc_info, it will cause out of bound access issue
if vport_id is equal to or larger than HNAE3_MAX_TC.

Also hardware only support maximum speed of HCLGE_ETHER_MAX_RATE.

So this patch adds two checks for above cases.

Yunsheng Lin 9e15be90b8 net: hns3: change SSU's buffer allocation according to UM
Currently when there is share buffer in the SSU(storage
switching unit), the low waterline for RX private buffer is
too low to keep the hardware running. Hardware may have
processed all the packet stored in the private buffer of the
low waterline before the new packet comes, because hardware
only tell the peer send packet again when the private buffer
is under the low waterline.

So this patch only allocate RX private buffer if there is
enough buffer according to hardware user manual.

This patch also reserve some buffer for reusing when TC num
is less than or equal to 2, and change PAUSE_TRANS_GAP &
HCLGE_NON_DCB_ADDITIONAL_BUF according to hardware user
manual.

Huazhong Tan f96315f2f1 net: hns3: fix __QUEUE_STATE_STACK_XOFF not cleared issue
When change MTU or other operations, which just calling .reset_notify

the netdev_tx_reset_queue() in the hns3_clear_all_ring() will be

This patch separates netdev_tx_reset_queue() from

This patch optimizes hclge_handle_hw_ras_error() to make the code logic
clearer.
1. If there was no NIC or Roce RAS when we read
   HCLGE_RAS_PF_OTHER_INT_STS_REG, we return directly.
2. Because NIC and Roce RAS may occurs at the same time, so we should
   check value of revision at first before we handle Roce RAS instead
   of only checking it in branch of no NIC RAS is detected.
3. Check HCLGE_STATE_RST_HANDLING each time before we want to return
   PCI_ERS_RESULT_NEED_RESET.
4. Remove checking of HCLGE_RAS_REG_NFE_MASK and
   HCLGE_RAS_REG_ROCEE_ERR_MASK because if hw_err_reset_req is not
   zero, it proves that we have set it in handling of NIC or Roce RAS.

Suzuki K Poulose 418e3ea157 bus_find_device: Unify the match callback with class_find_device
There is an arbitrary difference between the prototypes of
bus_find_device() and class_find_device() preventing their callers
from passing the same pair of data and match() arguments to both of
them, which is the const qualifier used in the prototype of
class_find_device(). If that qualifier is also used in the
bus_find_device() prototype, it will be possible to pass the same
match() callback function to both bus_find_device() and
class_find_device(), which will allow some optimizations to be made in
order to avoid code duplication going forward. Also with that, constify
the "data" parameter as it is passed as a const to the match function.

For this reason, change the prototype of bus_find_device() to match
the prototype of class_find_device() and adjust its callers to use the
const qualifier in accordance with the new prototype of it.

Shiju Jose e4193e24a5 net: hns3: process H/W errors occurred before HNS dev initialization
Presently the HNS driver enables the HNS H/W error interrupts after
the dev initialization is completed. However some exceptions such as
NCSI errors can occur when the network port driver is not loaded
and those errors required reporting to the BMC.
Therefore the firmware enabled all the HNS ras error interrupts
before the driver is loaded. And in some cases, there will be some
H/W errors remained unclear before reboot. Thus the HNS driver needs
to process and recover those hw errors occurred before HNS driver is
initialized.

This patch adds processing of the HNS hw errors(RAS and MSI-X)
which occurred before the driver initialization. For RAS, because
they are enabled by firmware, so we can detect specific bits, then
log and clear them. But for MSI-X which can not be enabled before
open vector0 irq, we can't detect the specific error bits, so we
just write 1 to all interrupt source registers to clear.

Presently the error handling code sets the reset level required

All RAS and MSI-X should be enabled just in the final stage of HNS3

MSI-X, if it is enabled before opening vector0 IRQ, there are some

to indicate that. And before calling PF NIC client's uninit_instance(),
we clear this state.

So any operation of PF NIC client from HCLGE is not allowed if this
state is not set.

ring->next_to_use points to has not done the dma mapping,
the desc that need unmapping is before the ring->next_to_use.

This patch fixes it by calling ring_ptr_move_bw(next_to_use)
before doing unmapping operation, and set desc_cb->dma to
zero to avoid freeing it again when unloading.

Also, when filling skb head or frag fails, both need to unmap
all the way back to next_to_use_head, so remove one desc filling

The main changes are:

1) Introduce BPF socket local storage map so that BPF programs can store
   private data they associate with a socket (instead of e.g. separate hash
   table), from Martin.

2) Add support for bpftool to dump BTF types. This is done through a new
   `bpftool btf dump` sub-command, from Andrii.

3) Enable BPF-based flow dissector for skb-less eth_get_headlen() calls which
   was currently not supported since skb was used to lookup netns, from Stanislav.

4) Add an opt-in interface for tracepoints to expose a writable context
   for attached BPF programs, used here for NBD sockets, from Matt.

5) BPF xadd related arm64 JIT fixes and scalability improvements, from Daniel.

6) Change the skb->protocol for bpf_skb_adjust_room() helper in order to
   support tunnels such as sit. Add selftests as well, from Willem.

7) Various smaller misc fixes.

hns3_desc_unused() returns how many BD have been cleaned, but new
buffer has not been attached to them. The register of
HNS3_RING_RX_RING_FBDNUM_REG returns how many BD need allocating new

Also, new buffer can not attach to the pending BD when the last BD is

Jian Shen 44e626f720 net: hns3: fix VLAN offload handle for VLAN inserted by port
Currently, in TX direction, driver implements the TX VLAN offload
by checking the VLAN header in skb, and filling it into TX descriptor.
Usually it works well, but if enable inserting VLAN header based on
port, it may conflict when out_tag field of TX descriptor is already
used, and cause RAS error.

In RX direction, hardware supports stripping max two VLAN headers.
For vlan_tci in skb can only store one VLAN tag, when RX VLAN offload
enabled, driver tells hardware to strip one VLAN header from RX
packet; when RX VLAN offload disabled, driver tells hardware not to
strip VLAN header from RX packet. Now if port based insert VLAN
enabled, all RX packets will have the port based VLAN header. This
header is useless for stack, driver needs to ask hardware to strip
it. Unfortunately, hardware can't drop this VLAN header, and always
fill it into RX descriptor, so driver has to identify and drop it.

hardware also needs to strip it from received packets before

The checking of HCLGEVF_STATE_RST_HANDLING flag in the

hclgevf_reset_service_task(), it is unnecessary to check it

The tx ring buffer map when xmit and unmap when xmit done. So in
hnae_init_ring() did not map tx ring buffer, but in hnae_fini_ring()
have a unmap operation for tx ring buffer, which is already unmapped
when xmit done, than cause this WARNING.

The hnae_alloc_buffers() is called in hnae_init_ring(),
so the hnae_free_buffers() should be in hnae_fini_ring(), not in
hnae_free_desc().

In hnae_fini_ring(), adds a check is_rx_ring() as in hnae_init_ring().
When the ring buffer is tx ring, adds a piece of code to ensure that
the tx ring is unmap.

Shiju Jose 69b51bbb03 net: hns3: fix to stop multiple HNS reset due to the AER changes
The commit bfcb79fca1
("PCI/ERR: Run error recovery callbacks for all affected devices")
affected the non-fatal error recovery logic for the HNS and RDMA devices.
This is because each HNS PF under PCIe bus receive callbacks
from the AER driver when an error is reported for one of the PF.
This causes unwanted PF resets because
the HNS decides which PF to reset based on the reset type set.
The HNS error handling code sets the reset type based on the hw error
type detected.

This patch provides fix for the above issue for the recovery of
the hw errors in the HNS and RDMA devices.

This patch needs backporting to the kernel v5.0+

Gustavo A. R. Silva d89ea4acfc net: hns: use struct_size() in devm_kzalloc()
One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding
the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along
with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example:

struct foo {
    int stuff;
    struct boo entry[];
};

instance = devm_kzalloc(dev, sizeof(struct foo) + sizeof(struct boo) * count, GFP_KERNEL);

Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can
now use the new struct_size() helper:

instance = devm_kzalloc(dev, struct_size(instance, entry, count), GFP_KERNEL);

This code was detected with the help of Coccinelle.
