# Spacecruft stphot
|
|
*stphot is a set of python programs to detect and identify satellite
|
|
tracks on photographic observations of the night sky, and measure the
|
|
satellite positions to determine and/or update their orbits.*
|
|
|
|
|
|
# Install
|
|
Install thusly.
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
sudo apt install python3-virtualenv python3-pip python3-dev
|
|
|
|
git clone https://spacecruft.org/spacecruft/stphot
|
|
# Or use upstream:
|
|
git clone https://github.com/cbassa/stphot
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
Optionally, set up python virtual environment:
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
cd stphot/
|
|
virtualenv -p python3 env
|
|
source env/bin/activate
|
|
pip install --upgrade pip
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
Install python dependencies.
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
pip install --upgrade -r requirements.txt
|
|
```

|
|
|
|
|
